In 1991, director Steven Spielberg brought Peter Pan to a newer audience with Hook. Starring Robin Williams, the box office hit gained five Oscars nominations, including Best Visual Effects and Best Makeup. With its 30 year anniversary coming very soon, we look at what certain cast members look like today.

Rufio, Rufio, Ru-fi-ooooooo

Dante Basco’s biggest live action role was easily Lost Boys’ leader Rufio. For the past 15 years, though, he’s added numerous roles as a voice actor. His most noticeable voice role is Prince Zuko in the Avatar franchise. Other prominent voice roles include Shingo from the Skate video game franchise and the title character of American Dragon: Jake Long.

Julia Roberts nearly lost her Tinker Bell gig due to bad behavior, which involved fleeing the country following a breakup. For Charlie Korsmo, Hook was one of his final film roles for a long time. Following an appearance in 1998’s Can’t Hardly Wait, he quit acting to earn his degree in physics. In 2011, Korsmo was picked by Barack Obama to join the Board of Trustees of the Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation. 20 years after leaving acting, he returned for a small role in the drama Chained for Life.
