Girl and Quadriplegic Sister Surprise Mom with Touching Wedding Dance

Published

A video of a wedding dance has been making the rounds on the Internet but it’s not between the bride and groom, mother and son, or father and daughter. This time around, the touching video is of a special dance number by a 12-year-old with her quadriplegic sister at their mother’s wedding.

What made the dance extra special is not only for the fact that both are the bride’s daughters, but also because the older of the two, 12-year-old Angelina, choreographed the dance herself to include her wheelchair-confined little sister, eight-year-old Aubrey, who suffers from spinal muscular atrophy.

Angelina and Aubrey had been practicing the surprise dance piece behind their mom’s back. Apparently, the sweet gesture did surprise and touch their mother Shellie Lopes Boulanger, who said she never expected it at all. Lopes Boulanger recalled: “It was after the mother and son dance, and the DJ said there was still one very special performance to come.”

In the viral video clip, Angelina can be seen dancing away like a graceful ballerina, every now and then spinning the flower-decorated wheelchair of her quadriplegic sister, who appeared just like a resting angel dressed in a lovely white dress, with a wreath of flowers on her head.

Lopes Boulanger said “We were all completely blown away by this dance. I had absolutely no idea; they had been practicing it without me knowing.”

The proud Massachusetts mom shared that she was not the only one who was touched by her young daughters’ beautiful expression of love on her wedding day, apparently the entire room was moved by the lovely dance piece.

An emotional Lopes Boulanger revealed: “Everyone in the room was crying.  So many different people came up to me during the wedding and said it was one of the most special things they’d ever witnessed.”

The grateful mom says she will forever cherish her daughters’ beautiful moment.

Situated in the Santa Ynez Valley of Santa Monica, California, the almost 3,000 acre plot of land upon which Neverland Ranch was constructed has recently been placed back on the market. Nowadays, the one-time residence of international pop sensation Michael Jackson is going by a new name: Sycamore Valley Ranch. Much of the estate is as it was during the 15 years Jackson called it his home, except for a few glaring differences – namely, the removal of the fun-fair rides that gave the home its whimsical name Neverland Ranch. The very last vestiges of where the carousel once spun are still visible as you go through the grounds. Read on for an in-depth view of the ranch.
