The Rock Leaves Behind A Massive Damage Bill From His Movies

Published

on

Fans love to keep track of trivial things in movies. Whether it’s a word count or how many drinks were had, the time on their hands to dissect a film is endless. One person managed to make a pretty strong case towards a certain actor’s destructive side.

The People’s Destruction

The Rock is the highest paid actor in history with an impressive $124 million earned last year. The folks at Rotten Tomatoes, however, believe he could throw some of that money into fixing several buildings. The popular website has tallied up how much destruction was seen throughout his acting career.

His most destructive film by far, was 2015’s San Andreas, which features a $10 trillion bill. All of that stemmed from an earthquake triggered at the San Andreas Fault.

Money Doesn’t Grow On Trees

When it comes to the most destructive moment in his career, it came in 2013’s G.I. Joe: Retaliation. The film includes a scene where the entire city of London gets destroyed. That moment brings in a $2 trillion bill.

The least destructive moment in The Rock’s career comes from 2017’s Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. The damage in this film was only worth $18,000 virtual dollars.

A True Rampage

Overall, the entire bill for destruction surrounding The Rock equals $12,213,644,538,000. When it came to the numbers, Rotten Tomatoes was completely on their game. “We took exhaustive notes, then compared the damage to modern-day natural disasters, and researched the prices of vehicles, drywall, yachts, plexiglass windows, and more,” they stated.

Unfortunately, The Rock will deliver more damage with Black Adam and Fast & Furious spinoff Hobbs & Shaw. In 10 years, Rotten Tomatoes will have to make major updates to those numbers. Are you’re looking to see The Rock in nondestructive settings? You can see him in Fighting with My Family and Ballers.
