Quentin Tarantino is back in the saddle with a 2019 film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and fans are definitely excited after the release of the first preview photos. This historical depiction of Los Angeles culture in the 1960s, during the time of the Manson Family murders, is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. Vanity Fair recently released some photos on set, ensuring a truly entertaining Tarantino film yet again.
Tarantino Brings Back DiCaprio For Next Hit Film
Tarantino has had several hit films in the past few years. His 2012’s Django Unchained and 2015’s Hateful Eight reach critical acclaim comparable to his ’90s and early 2000s films. This new film features stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Al Pacino, Dakota Fanning, Burt Reynolds, and many others. DiCaprio is back for his second Tarantino film, after Django Unchained, which received five Academy Award nominations and two Oscars.

The story surrounds several true Hollywood stars during the time of the Manson Family murders. Though little has been released about the film, it can be guaranteed that there will be suspense, witty dialogue, and likely some bloodshed.
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood Already Receiving Praise
Vanity Fair, which provided the photos from set, reported the film, “stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a faded TV Western star and Pitt as his stunt double, is, as its sand-battered title suggests, a throwback.” The fashion and the settings of these photos suggest it is a true recreation of the culture of 1960s.

According to Vanity Fair, the setting and writing are Tarantino’s genius at its peak. The magazine called the film, ” [an] old-school L.A. story, the kind of city epic only a nostalgic of Tarantino’s wit and peculiarity could attempt to really do justice.”
