Fashion would not be where it is today if it wasn’t for the creative visionaries behind the lens. Angles, perspectives, sceneries, and tones make a simple photo come to life. It doesn’t matter how talented a designer can be at stitching fabrics together, the end result is always the meaning and presentation. The designer’s techniques may be flawless and impeccable but if it doesn’t cross into a magazine spread, it’s a lot of work for nothing. This is why photography is such a treasured medium for designers to express the fantasy and not just threads. The illusion is what sells not really the pieces themselves in actuality. Annie Leibovitz

Ms. Leibovitz is a fashion photography icon. She was the visionary behind Yoko Ono and John Lennon historic nude Rolling Stone. Other famous works include Demi Moore famous Vanity Fair pregnancy cover, photographed President Barak Obama and the first family in the White House. Most recent work headline work was in April 2014 issue of Vogue magazine featuring Kanye West and Kim Kardashian with baby North West. She is LEGEND.

Steven Meisel

American photographer Steven Meisel has also shot a plethora of fashion campaigns for brands like Versace, Valentino, and Louis Vuitton. Meisel really came to prominence by shooting a succession of covers for American and Italian Vogue. He has a great affiliations with the magazine’s editors, Anna Wintour and Franca Sozzani. Meisel influential boosted the careers of several big name models such as Naomi Campbell, Amber Valetta, Lara Stone and Keren Elson. It doesn’t stop there… he has also shot album covers for pop music stars like Madonna and Mariah Carey.

Marc Baptiste

Hatian American and Brooklyn native, Marc Baptiste is taking the fashion and photography world by storm. Barack Obama, Lauryn Hill, Prince, and more. He has also published several books including 2001′s Beautiful-Nudes, 2003′s Intimate and 2005′s Innocent. His work crosses over to art and commercial success.

Nick Knight

Nick Knight one photographer that has ventured past the magazines and campaigns scene. He resides in the realm of the avant-garde and his images are often the result of advanced visual technology that will leave any spectator in awe. He has worked with a bunch of high-profile brands including Alexander McQueen, Jil Sander, Christian Dior, Audi and even Mercedes Benz. That doesn’t stop there he shoots video amazingly as well. This artist has shot music videos for artistically expressive artists like Bjork and Lady Gaga. Nick Knight was the director behind the video for “Bound 2” by Kanye West and featuring Kim bouncing on a motorcycle.
