The death of Stan Lee still stings for everyone in the comic book world. One thing people will miss is seeing him in Marvel movies. Aside from live action performances, his animated appearances have been a treat. His final animated role has been revealed, and it’s with a beloved Jedi.
Lee’s Important Message
Lee is featured on a recent episode of Marvel’s Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest. He portrays an army general that has some choice words about tolerance. “It’s bittersweet, but I’m so glad we were able to capture a message that was very true to how Stan felt about the world and that inspired him to write a lot of the stories that he did,” stated Marvel’s Senior Vice President, Animation & Family Entertainment Cort Lane.

The episode also features Mark Hamill portraying Arnim Zola. When it comes to Hamill, Lee was simply impressed by his work. “When I hear him read the lines, when I hear how talented he is, how he can do another dialect and become another person, it’s fantastic. I read lines beautifully, but only as myself. I mean, if I had to be Baron Zemo, I wouldn’t know how to do it, but he becomes Baron Zemo,” Lee told Marvel HQ.
Talk The Talk
Last year, Lee lent his voice to Teen Titans Go! To the Movies and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. When it comes to Teen Titans Go!, Lee nearly didn’t get in the film. “Our audio engineer, his equipment broke, and I’ve never seen a person’s face turn so red or get so sweaty so fast. He was trying to fix the board and he couldn’t fix it. So we ended up having to record Stan on like a laptop,” director Peter Rida Michail told Entertainment Weekly.

Lee also appeared in Ralph Breaks the Internet, but he doesn’t have a speaking part.
One Last Goodbye
This year, Lee will have his final live-action cameos in Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame. There’s no word if he has one filmed for Spider-Man: Far From Home.
