Actress Sophie Turner States ‘Game Of Thrones’ Finale Will Be ‘Unpredictable’

After seven seasons, Game of Thrones bids farewell with its highly anticipated final season. As expected, fans have been binging the series to keep themselves busy. One star from the show didn’t shy away from giving fans some small hints on its finale.

Justice Has A Price

In an interview with Digital Spy, Sophie Turner discussed her time on the series. When the conversation turned to the finale, she gave her thoughts on how it ends.

“People have come up with so many fan theories about how it’s going to end, and who will end up where, and who will end up with who. It really is so unpredictable the way that it ends up. I’m very satisfied with that, and I think that the fans will be satisfied with that, too,” she said.

The Pack Survives

Last month, Turner caused an internet frenzy with her new Game of Thrones-inspired tattoo. Her ink features the quote “The Pack Survives” placed underneath a direwolf. Fans took this as a spoiler for season eight, which would find the Starks standing triumphant.

That wasn’t the case, though. “That would be terrible, if I got the ending tattooed on my body, just before the last season came out,” Turner said. During her time on the show, Turner earned accolades for her portrayal of Sansa Stark. Surprisingly enough, this is Turner’s first acting role.

Winter Is Here

The final season of Game of Thrones, which will be six episodes long, will debut in 2019. New episodes are rumored to start airing in the fall because of its short length.

The show was rumored to end in a movie, but HBO programming president Casey Bloys decided it should go out in an epic glory. “The show has proven that TV is every bit as impressive and in many cases more so, than film. What they’re doing is monumental,” he told Entertainment Weekly.
