Seth Rogen Drops A Bombshell About Stormy Daniels And Trump

Published

Viewers of Ellen were in for a surprise when Seth Rogen came onto the show recently. It turns out that the actor and producer may have known something about one of Donald Trump’s steamy affairs years ago. Whether Rogen’s blowing smoke or telling the truth is for you to decide. Here’s the story.

Trump’s Affair

In January, The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump’s lawyer paid adult star Stormy Daniels $130,000 before the 2016 election to keep her quiet about an alleged affair she had with Trump in 2006. While Trump’s lawyer denied the affair occurred, he did admit to giving the money to Daniels.

Daniels’ Interview

The scandal increasingly gained publicity. In March, Daniels appeared in an interview on 60 Minutes, where she revealed details about the affair. She even went on to say that she was pressed to sign false documents, saying that the affair did not happen. However, it turns out that at least one other person was well aware of the affair.

Rogen’s Ellen Appearance

Seth Rogen appeared on Ellen earlier this month and revealed that he knew about Trump’s affair with Daniels years ago. Daniels had worked with Rogen on two of his films: Knocked Up and 40-Year-Old Virgin. While on set, Daniels revealed the news to Rogen–who wasn’t exactly shocked.

Rogen’s Reveal

Speaking on the subject, Rogen said, “I’ve known Stormy Daniels a long time and I’ll be honest — she may have mentioned some of this stuff around 10 years ago. At the time, when you ask a porn star who they’ve been sleeping with, and the answer was Donald Trump, it was like the least surprising thing she could have said.”

No Surprise

So, why didn’t Rogen mention it earlier? Well, at the time, Trump wasn’t running for any major political office. He was a wealthy and famous man, so the news didn’t shock Rogen. Continuing, Rogen said, “And, so yeah, she had mentioned it actually. She did mention it and again, at the time, it wasn’t that surprising.”
