Family and Stars Alike Seek Marvel’s Help to Fulfill Dying Fan’s Wish

Published

on

Disney and Marvel have a history of making wishes come true. The companies have helped donate hundreds of thousands to Make-A-Wish and Starlight. Even their actors get in on the fun. Tom Holland recently visited the Atlanta Children’s Hospital as Spiderman in October 2016.

Real Life Superheroes at Work

Chris Evans and Chris Pratt had a bet following Super Bowl XLIX that involved the duo wearing their superhero costumes to children’s hospitals in Seattle and Boston.

The reaction was overwhelming, but sometimes sharing a big secret is all it takes to put a smile on a child’s face. That’s exactly what fans, supporters, and one movie star hope for.

May 2019 Can’t Come Soon Enough

Young Keira’s story first came to light via Twitter. The My Shining Star Children’s Cancer Charity shared the girl’s story and her dying wish: to know how Avengers 4 will end. And many people are in her corner. The original tweet has been shared a total of 187,000 times.

Sadly, Keira’s four and a half year fight might be nearing its end. The Marvel fan has been given just 3-6 months left to live. If this proves true, she likely won’t see the fourth Avengers movie herself. So the family is hoping the power of social media will help.

Shazam to the Rescue!

One little-known superhero star, Zachary Levi, has joined the fight. Levi, featured in the upcoming Shazam! movie, shared the post himself. With a DC actor on her side, Keira’s wish stands a chance of being heard

The only downside here is Levi’s relative obscurity. Though he was a member of the Thor trilogy cast and had a leading role in Disney’s Tangled, most people didn’t know who he was until recently. Regardless, the mere act of reaching out to help is heartwarming. One thing is for sure: Shazam is already doing a hero’s work.

Neverland Ranch is Back On The Market: Take A Look Around the Amusement Park

Situated in the Santa Ynez Valley of Santa Monica, California, the almost 3,000 acre plot of land upon which Neverland Ranch was constructed has recently been placed back on the market. Nowadays, the one-time residence of international pop sensation Michael Jackson is going by a new name: Sycamore Valley Ranch. Much of the estate is as it was during the 15 years Jackson called it his home, except for a few glaring differences – namely, the removal of the fun-fair rides that gave the home its whimsical name Neverland Ranch. The very last vestiges of where the carousel once spun are still visible as you go through the grounds. Read on for an in-depth view of the ranch.
