Samuel L. Jackson On Possible ‘Star Wars’ Return: ‘All They Got To Do Is Call’

Over the next few years, the Star Wars franchise will expand beyond the movies with several TV shows. As expected, there are some characters that fans would love to see revisited. One actor wouldn’t mind putting on the old robe again.

The Force Is With You

Iconic actor Samuel L. Jackson became a part of Star Wars history with his portrayal of Mace Windu. As the Master of the Jedi High Council, Windu was very respected amongst his peers.

While speaking to JOE, the idea of returning to the franchise came up. Jackson said he was all for it. “I’m that guy. All they got to do is call,” he said.

Bring Me To Life

This isn’t the first time Jackson has spoke about returning to the franchise. During the Star Wars Celebration 40th anniversary panel, he dove deep into why his character is probably still alive. “I know you’re all in my corner on this. We all know Jedi can fall from incredible heights and survive, so apparently, I am not dead. Yes, I have two appendages right now, but we know the long and rich history of Star Wars characters reappearing with new appendages and being stronger and better than they ever were. Mace Windu is awaiting his return, let’s make it happen,” Jackson said.

Windu fell to his death in Revenge of the Sith at the hands of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine.

Don’t Rule It Out Yet

Jackson’s comments about Windu possibly surviving might sound wild, but it can happen. In The Phantom Menace, Darth Maul gets split in half by Obi-Wan Kenobi. During Solo: A Star Wars Story, which is between Menace and A New Hope, it was discovered that he somehow survived death.

Since the newer films take place nearly 50 years from Sith, Windu would be at least 100 if he appeared in the current movies. A possible series taking place shortly after his supposed death would be perfect for fans.

Beverly Hills, 90210: Was Luke Perry Team Dylan or Team Brandon?

Some television shows come into our lives at the exact right moment, so that they become inextricably bound with our memories of those complicated coming-of-age years, Beverly Hills 90210 is without a doubt one of those shows. We all tuned in week after week, year after year because the drama was just so addicting. The love triangles! The will-they-won’t-theys! Meanwhile, when the cameras weren’t rolling, the cast was up to plenty of off-set antics of their own. Disclaimer: after you read about what went down, it might have you rethinking everything — were those angsty expressions just good acting, or were they bringing some real-life drama into it?
