Sad Dog Who Shed Tears After His Family Left Him Finds New Home

Published

on

A pit bull named Blue King was left at Carson Shelter in California when his family moved to another location and decided to leave him behind. Ever since this happened the dog had been observed shedding tears and whimpering sadly inside his kennel.

Volunteers at the shelter feel sorry and scared for BlueKing considering that Carson is known as a high kill shelter, which means Blue had to be adopted quickly because if not, he would most like be put to sleep.

To help the lonely pit bull, a video was posted on Facebook with a caption sharing Blue’s circumstances and appeal for him to be adopted, part of which read:

“This is BLUE KING. He was surrendered today and when we walked up to him we woke him and he immediately let out this painful whimper once he realized this was really happening. He looks like he’s been crying with tears. The Video is not exciting, (and you might want to turn the sound down) but he is so hurt and sad and he just wants them to change their minds… This sweet, sensitive soul needs help fast… A FOSTER or Adopter would save him.”

Fortunately, Jennifer McKay watched the video and decided to adopt Blue after meeting him.

“He looked very sad and depressed. He wouldn’t even acknowledge me at all. All the other dogs were making eye contact and wagging their tails, but he wouldn’t stand up, wouldn’t come see me. It was sad,” McKay told The Dodo.

Blue may have been lonely inside the facility but after he was released, McKay shared that the pit bull instantly became cheerful and energetic once again.

“I was expecting to get a really laid back, chill dog but as soon as the gates opened in the kennel, he was super excited,” said McKay. “He’s just a good dog. I’m super excited to have him be a part of the family,” she added.

Situated in the Santa Ynez Valley of Santa Monica, California, the almost 3,000 acre plot of land upon which Neverland Ranch was constructed has recently been placed back on the market. Nowadays, the one-time residence of international pop sensation Michael Jackson is going by a new name: Sycamore Valley Ranch. Much of the estate is as it was during the 15 years Jackson called it his home, except for a few glaring differences – namely, the removal of the fun-fair rides that gave the home its whimsical name Neverland Ranch. The very last vestiges of where the carousel once spun are still visible as you go through the grounds. Read on for an in-depth view of the ranch.
