As Kim Kardashian’s brother, Rob gained fame from appearing on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Fans of the show know about his battle with weight loss. Today, the reality show star is making sure that weight stays off him for good.
Time To Get In Shape
On Twitter, Rob posted a photo of his home gym with the caption, “Day 1 all good.” Fans on the social media platform have been supportive of his brand new lifestyle. “Honestly, I learned that the best way to stick to a diet is to get all the junk food out of your house and avoid going to tempting places as much as possible. Give yourself no option but to eat healthily. You can do it,” Twitter user girl_vs_world_ said. Some fans have shared they’re also trying to shed some pounds. “Good on you! I’ve been going to the gym a few times a week taking different classes. It isn’t easy, but I hope to one day see some good results! You got this,” Twitter user mpyke1989 said.
A Ton Of Insecurities
For Rob, the journey to losing weight hasn’t been easy. When Kim got married to Kanye West in 2014, he was a no show to the wedding. “I was doing suit fittings in Paris right before the wedding, and I just wasn’t comfortable. I’m 6’1″, and at my most, I probably weighed 300lbs,” he told People. “There were cameras at the airport on our trip there, and I was very unhappy with the person I saw in all the pictures. I’m upset I missed my sister’s wedding, but it was a personal decision.”
His weight struggle was captured on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. In the episode, he had second thoughts about heading to Cannes with his ex-fiancée Blac Chyna. “I do not want to go to Cannes anyway. Even when I was in the best shape of my entire life, I still had an insecurity with my weight,” he said in the episode. “On top of that, there’s paparazzi people that follow me and take pictures of me, and that shuts me down to not wanting to go out when I’m obviously not feeling my best. I’m not comfortable in my skin. I’m not comfortable with this weight, so I feel like I’m not happy with anything I do right now.”
Dream A Little Dream
Aside from his own health, one major reason for his weight loss is his daughter Dream Renée. “Rob is eating better and has a trainer — he wants to stay healthy for his daughter’s sake. He’s focused on what he should be focused on: Dream and his health. He wants to stay healthy for his daughter’s sake. Dream was a huge wake-up call for Rob. He wants to be the best dad possible,” an insider told People. Dream Renée was born on November 10, 2016.
Just Some Simple Flirting
Recently, Rob has been flirting with Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada online. It all started when Lozada wished Rob a happy Father’s Day back in June. While romance rumors spawned, Lozada states she’s single. She appreciates how Rob is handling his weight situation, though. “I think Rob is a nice guy. I really, really do. I feel like he has the potential for greatness, and I hope he really keeps kicking a– in the gym because I think he’s a nice-looking man,” she said on Power 105.1 FM’s Breakfast Club. When it comes to a possible date, Lozada said, “I would go on a date with Rob.”
For now, Rob is focused on shedding the pounds and spending time with his daughter.
