Quick and Easy Coffee Gift Ideas for Christmas

Published

on

‘Tis the season to stress out on gifts for everyone dear to your heart. Getting into your car at this point in the holiday season is completely mental. I’ve got a really simple idea you can give to your coffee lover friends. The solution to all of your problems is Starbucks.

Starbucks is notorious for being overpriced coffee but when it comes to last minute Christmas shopping, it can save you the hassle from heading over to your local mall where you’ll end up parking 3 miles away.

Coffee Drinks 411

We all have that friend who is always wired on coffee and frankly, it might even be one of us, but there is no shame in that because there are a variety of coffee flavors that can fulfill our cravings. When it comes to buying a gift especially for a holiday like Christmas, one usually tends to become picky because they want their gift to be the best or the most expensive. That is not right! When you buy a gift for someone, it shouldn’t matter how much you spent on it or how perfect it is in your eyes. What matters is that the person receiving the gift will love it and they can tell that you took your time in finding what you thought would be perfect for them. But then again, it all depends on what type of friend you have, aka the materialistic. That’s why when it comes to giving a bag of coffee to someone as a gift, it is important you take your time in looking for the right flavor according to their personality.

The Christmas-a-holic

During the holiday season, Starbucks releases their Holiday Coffee where you can choose from a variety of different flavors. I know this season, they came up with the Chestnut Praline Latte and I must say that that flavor was a complete crowd’s pleaser. Unfortunately, Starbucks isn’t selling that flavor on their website, but you can definitely check it out yourself. Coffee flavors that are on sale on their website are, Christmas Blend, Christmas Blonde Roast, Christmas Espresso Roast, Latte Peppermint Mocha, and Holiday Blend. If you’re looking for a gift for a Christmas-a-holic (the friend who listens to Christmas Carols when Labor Day hits), then definitely consider the Christmas flavors at Starbucks. All of the above listed items range from $6.00 – $15.00.

The Traditionalist

Let’s just say that there is that one person who is anti-holiday everything. The one who likes to have coffee on the daily because they like how it tastes or because they actually need it. This is the Traditionalist. The good thing about Starbucks is that they will have a decent amount of basic coffee flavors still around in the store for those traditionalists. Now if you thought the Christmas Flavors list was long, you can imagine the non-festive flavors. For nine months, there are no big festivities occurring so there are flavors that just stay on the market for the longest time. Some of these “traditional” drinks are, Pike Place Roast, Italian Roast, Espresso Roast, Gold Coast Blend, Sumatra, Breakfast Blend, Komodo Dragon Blend, French Roast, Organic Yukon Blend, Caffee Verona Blend, Guatemala Antigua, Veranda Blend, Kenya, and …. We can go on FOREVER, literally. There is a coffee flavor for everyone. The price range for these is a tad bit more, $11.00 – $16.00, but it is guaranteed you’ll find something.

Let’s say that after all of these different types of flavors you still have no idea what kind to give as a gift, then here is the last and simplest resort. Buy them a gift card. Really basic right? You might be asking why a Starbucks gift card in specific right. Here’s the answer. Buy them a Starbucks gift card because if your friend is a coffee lover, then they will love to have free coffee! Second, swiping a gift card adds more points to their Starbucks account if they register their card on the Starbucks app. The more points, aka stars, they accumulate, the faster it is to reach the Gold Card Level and every coffee lover wishes they could hold a gold card with their name on it from Starbucks. Believe me, it’s an amazing feeling.

I hope these quick ideas calmed your stressed-Christmas-focused brains for the moment at least. Of course you can head over to any coffee shop but since Starbucks has a really wide variety of flavors and some stores tend to function 24 hours, it’s an easy-go to gift place. Remember that it doesn’t matter how expensive the gift is, just that the gift is something they will truly want and especially put into good use. I wish everyone happy holidays and be safe out there.
