Pro Wrestlers That Aren’t Ashamed Of Their Softer Side

Published

on

In the past, it was a lot easier for pro wrestlers to maintain their personas in the public imagination. Now, thanks to social media, we often see a softer side to the stars of the WWE. While they can be menacing in the ring, these five wrestlers post pics of their home lives online and reveal themselves to be giant teddy bears after all. Take a look!

The Celtic Colossus

Drew McIntyre’s return to the WWE was met with praise from fans and critics alike. He also managed to get a second chance at love following his 2011 divorce from fellow wrestler Taryn Terrell. In 2016, he married longtime girlfriend Kaitlyn Frohnapfel. For this wedding, WWE wrestler Sheamus was McIntyre’s best man.

The Animal

Two time Royal Rumble winner Dave Bautista has skyrocketed to fame as Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy. Despite his major acting success, his love for the WWE still shines. Bautista is seen in this Instagram photo rocking the ukulele with Freddy Jones Band bassist Rich Ross. Maybe it’s a serenade for his wife Sarah Jade.

The Machine Gun

Along with Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson has been making nerds cry in the wrestling ring for years. His current run in the WWE has found him reuniting with Bullet Club alumni Finn Balor and AJ Styles. At home, Anderson stays busy hanging out with his three sons. This year, they’re making room for another brother.

Team Awe-ska

The Miz is arguably one of the biggest performers in the WWE today. Asuka took over the WWE with an impressive 914-day undefeated streak. For the WWE Mixed Match Challenge, both competitors teamed up to support Rescue Dogs Rock. As you can see, they simply enjoy spending time with their new friends.

The White Sheep

As one half of The Bludgeon Brothers, Erick Rowan brings fear to his opponents. Outside of the ring, he’s spending time with his son and daughter. Don’t expect him to discuss married life in an interview, though. His Instagram photos of his family are everything he wants to say about his home life.
