Sara Trigero, a preschool teacher at the Child and Family Research Center at University of Nevada – Reno, got a big surprise recently. The 27-year-old educator was under the impression that the school was giving her a performance review, so she was caught off guard when she saw a group of her students lined up and holding a banner that read, ‘Sara, say yes.”

ABC News covered the story and Trigero said: “My boss pretended like I had a meeting with her to talk about my performance.”

“While I went out and had my meeting, they set up everything outside. But it wasn’t a real meeting at all. It was totally pretend. Right when I walked out the doors, I saw them,” she continued.

Her boyfriend, Dallin Knecht, asked Trigero’s boss to help include the students in his proposal. As she walked out of the quadrangle, Trigero saw a group of her preschoolers lined up, holding a huge banner.

Then, the preschool teacher got the surprise of her life as she saw her boyfriend, who dropped to his knee holding a ring. With Knecht’s signal, the group of children exclaimed in unison: “Say yes!”

Knecht is a university student at the same school where Trigero works as a teacher. The couple met while working part time at a local restaurant and has been dating for about two years.

“Sara cares a lot about the kids,” Knecht said. “She’s there full time, spending eight-plus hours a day with them, and loves them a lot.”

Knecht continued: “Everything went according to plan,” and he credited Trigero’s co-workers for being instrumental and making everything possible. He said: “The kids were great too… they were very helpful and fun.”

Trigero expressed that she was overwhelmed and said that she has never been so surprised in her life. She added: “I was expecting a normal day and it was so much more than that.”

Much of the estate is as it was during the 15 years Jackson called it his home, except for a few glaring differences – namely, the removal of the fun-fair rides that gave the home its whimsical name Neverland Ranch. The very last vestiges of where the carousel once spun are still visible as you go through the grounds. Read on for an in-depth view of the ranch.
