Now in its tenth season on the air, reality series The Real Housewives of New York City has launched the careers of many a TV star. Audiences have become quite familiar with some of the women who have been featured on the show— one of which won’t be around for much longer.

One Less Housewife

In a recent statement, Carole Radziwill confirmed that the tenth season of Real Housewives would be her last.

“After six seasons on Bravo’s RHONYC, I have decided to return to what I do best—  journalism and producing,” her quote read. “I am sure this does not come as a surprise to any of the viewers, all of whom have been supportive, encouraging, and kind.”

Carole Gets Candid

The reality star went on to explain her motivations for moving on from the show: “My original curiosity about reality television has waned over the years and I am focusing on TV and writing projects that better suit my more steady temperament. I have worked with amazing producers, made great friends, and I’m thrilled to leave frenemies behind. I will remember this entire experience with delight, humor, and a veracious accuracy. Next.”

Radziwill’s choice to be open about this transition will come as no surprise to RHONYC fans. Through her time on the show, viewers have gotten to know both her exciting professional endeavors and her personal situation with her late husband, Anthony.

Moving On Up

During her six seasons on the series, Carole Radziwill achieved a notable amount of success in her career as an award-winning journalist and author.

Given the discipline and ambition that she demonstrated on screen, it’s no surprise that she may want to focus on her work without the distraction of a reality show. She will certainly be missed.
