We Need These TV/Movie Crossovers In The Marvel Cinematic Universe Right Now

Published

on

There are an insane amount of superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in both TV and film. For years, fans have wondered if heroes from the TV shows and movies will ever run into each other. While we’re not sure when they’ll happen, we have five crossovers that would certainly shake things up.

Mockingbird/Hawkeye

Comic book fans know about the on-and-off relationship between Mockingbird and Hawkeye. Strangely enough, they never ran into each other in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. When we last left Mockingbird, she was on the run after leaving S.H.I.E.L.D. Since Damage Control wasn’t picked up by ABC, a run in with her old flame in the movies would work well.

The Avengers/Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Fans haven’t seen much of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the films since 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The organization has been pretty much presumed defunct by everyone. Fortunately, that’s not the case if you’re following Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s fifth season. Having S.H.I.E.L.D. members Quake, Agent May, and Slingshot team up as crossovers with The Avengers is a dream for Marvel Cinematic Universe fans.

Black Panther/Daredevil

Crossovers between Black Panther and Daredevil might look odd, but the two have history in the comic books. At one point, Black Panther replaced Daredevil as the guardian of Hell’s Kitchen. For the Netflix show, we could see T’Challa utilize his Mr. Okonkwo identity to navigate the area and help out Mr. Murdock.

Ghost Rider/Dr. Strange

In Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Ghost Rider manages to open and use the same type of portal as Doctor Strange. According to him, he managed to learn this new ability from an unnamed person (we think we know who). Seeing that they’ve met offscreen in another dimension, an onscreen meetup could take place in Doctor Strange 2. Doctor Strange becoming Ghost Rider could also be a possibility.

ABC/Marvel

Jessica Jones/Spider-Man

Jessica Jones and Peter Parker have plenty of history together in the comics. Jones, who was classmates with Parker, had a crush on the future web-slinger. She was also a witness to the life-changing radioactive spider bite. While they’re different ages in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a meetup between them would be a nice throwback.

Matt Ryan Could Potentially Star In A New Constantine TV Show

DC/Vertigo's foul-mouthed but loveable magician has very bad luck. Both in the realities of his stories and in the many attempts to adapt him to screen. From the mediocre film, the good TV, and even the fantastic animated films, he seems to never be able to stick a landing. But his luck may be turning around in the near future....
