Miranda Lambert Updates Fans Through Emotional Instagram Post

With millions of albums sold, singer Miranda Lambert is one of country music’s biggest names. Even with the fame, she’s fearful for everyone during the coronavirus epidemic. The singer took to social media to give fans a real look at how she’s feeling right now.

Off The Road For A Long Time

On Instagram, the singer showed off some gifts given to her by her parents. Feeling emotional, the singer delivered a lengthy statement. “I haven’t really known what to say on social media during all this. I’m not great at socials anyway and a time like this makes it that much more difficult for me to figure out how to be,” she stated in the Instagram post.

Something affecting her tremendously is the inability to perform in front of fans. “For the next few months for me, there are no shows, no sound checks, no bus calls, no flights. Just home,” she continued in her post. “Once I processed it, I actually got a feeling of peace even though, like all of us, my anxiety about the state of the world right now is still through the roof.” Many musicians have been postponing or canceling their previously announced tours because of the coronavirus. Fortunately, some of them have been giving fans intimate shows through the power of social media. Depending on the coronavirus’ impact, performing at arenas will be up in the air. Lambert was forced to postpone a slew of tour dates in April and May. While she rescheduled those dates for October, there’s a great chance of them being postponed again.

I haven’t really known what to say on social media during all this. I’m not great at socials anyway and a time like this makes it that much more difficult for me to figure out how to be. Tuesday of this week is when I finally realized I could unpack. For the next few months for me there are no shows, no sound checks, no bus calls, no flights. Just home. Once I processed it, I actually got a feeling of peace even though , like all of us, my anxiety about the sate of the world right now is still through the roof. I’ve started working on some projects around the farm that I kept running from because I had to leave for work and some I’ve wanted to run from because organization is not my fav. Ive been having some pretty cool virtual happy hours with friends and family. Brendan and I have been cooking, cleaning, working out (some virtual classes but not enough @b.w.fitness @willowpilatesstudio 😬) spending time with dogs and horses and just being together quietly . Well besides the country music constantly coming through the speakers. I have written a few songs for the first time in a year. And text writing a cowgirl song with @ronniedunn (such a fan girl of B&D). Today I spent most of the day thanking Jesus that the sun was out. The baby chicks are about to move into their new coop and that’s about all the news we have around here for the time being. We miss our road family, New York family and I dang sure miss my Texas fam. My soul sister @apes_1983 just had her first baby yesterday, baby Finn, and we only get to see him through a screen for now. I wish I was there in person. Soon enough good Lord willin. But in happy news, this box arrived today and I felt my heart jump. Some wine from @red55winery , freshly canned salsa, apple butter, Paw Paws bbq sauce, and a note on napkin. “Sending love from home. love mom and dad (be safe). I do feel safe now knowing that even though they are over 600 miles away I’m connected to all of them. Sending light to all the first responders and health care workers. Stay home. Call home

Hanging Out At The Farm

Miranda then changed the subject to something put on the backburner: her farm. “I’ve started working on some projects around the farm that I kept running from because I had to leave for work and some I’ve wanted to run from because organization is not my fav,” she said in the post. In 2016, the artist purchased a 400-acre farm for $3.4 million. One person keeping her safe is husband Brendan McLoughlin. The pair met while McLoughlin was working as an NYPD officer. As expected, Lambert’s dad, who was also a police officer, bonded instantly with her new man. The pair had a secret wedding ceremony in Davidson County, Tennessee. During these times, the couple has been spending quality time cooking and cleaning around the house.

New Music On The Way?

Lambert revealed she’s been using this time to focus on something special for fans. “I have written a few songs for the first time in a year. And text writing a cowgirl song with @ronniedunn,” she proclaimed. With no touring in sight for the near future, Lambert may find herself writing a brand new album. The artist could be composing a few tunes for some standalone releases.

The singer released her new studio album “Wildcard” back in November. Debuting at number four, it became Lambert’s sixth consecutive top 10 debut. For the record, Lambert teamed up with producer Jay Joyce. Over the years, Joyce has been gaining steam in the country world producing albums for Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band. At this year’s Grammy Awards, Lambert was nominated for Best Country Song with “It All Comes Out in the Wash.”

The artist was set to appear at the Academy of Country Music Awards, but the coronavirus led to its postponement. The award ceremony, which was originally scheduled for April, will take place on September 16. Lambert is up for three nominations, including Album of the Year for “Wildcard.”

Safety Is Important

Lambert closed things with a reminder for everyone out there. “I do feel safe now knowing that even though they are over 600 miles away I’m connected to all of them. Sending light to all the first responders and health care workers. Stay home. Call home,” Lambert said in the post. While it might be a while, Lambert surely cannot wait to deliver a powerful show for her fans again.
