Joining Hemsworth and Thompson on the cast are Liam Neeson, Rebecca Ferguson, and Kumail Nanjiani. Emma Thompson, who played Agent O in Men In Black 3, will reprise her role in the movie.

Teasing The Fans

During ComicCon Brazil, Tessa Thompson held a panel to talk about the forthcoming movie. When it comes to the franchise, she’s a longtime fan like everyone in the audience. “I was a huge fan. A huge, huge fan. I was a teenager when the films came out, and they meant so much to me. Of course, Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith left us some huge shoes to fill, but it’s so fun to play in this world,” she told the crowd.

Hollywood Outbreak

Talking about her character, Thompson knew Agent M fit her like a glove. “She’s a total geek, and she isn’t afraid to admit it. I think her superpower is her mind. She’s like a really dope nerd who’s happy to be one and is obsessed with the world of aliens and the world of Men In Black“, she said. Thompson also revealed there may be some cameos for long time Men In Black fans.

Here Come The M.I.B.s

Men In Black International was directed by F. Gary Gray, who previously worked on Straight Outta Compton and The Fate of the Furious.

Sony Pictures

You can catch Hemsworth and Thompson in action when the film arrives on June 14, 2019.
