When it comes to celebrity couples, everyone loves to seek out the next new duo. Two people some never expected to hook up are actress Megan Fox and rapper Machine Gun Kelly. The pair recently decided to make things official with some PDA.

Life Imitating Art

While hanging out in Los Angeles, Fox and Kelly were seen kissing each other in public. As expected, the paparazzi had a field day trying to get the best photos. For Fox and Kelly, it comes with the territory.

Fox and Kelly first met each other while filming the crime thriller “Midnight in the Switchgrass.” In the film, Fox portrays FBI agent Rebecca Lombardi, who’s on the hunt for a serial killer. Kelly’s role in the movie is yet to be announced. Filming for the movie had to be delayed due to the coronavirus epidemic.

Dating rumors began following the release of Kelly’s music video for the single “Bloody Valentine.” In the visual, the two nearly share a kiss on screen. The music video has nearly 20 million views on YouTube. On Twitter, Kelly didn’t hide the fact that he’s dating Fox by quoting lyrics from the tune. “‘I’m calling you girlfriend, what the f–k.’ Life imitated art on that one,” Kelly tweeted.

Love is Hard

When it comes to dating, Kelly has kept a low profile over the years. The rapper’s most publicized relationship was with Amber Rose. The pair only dated for two months before ending things due to busy schedules. Following Rose, Kelly was linked to Halsey, Chantel Jeffries and Kate Beckinsale. No matter who he’s dating, Kelly’s heart belongs to his daughter Casie. 

Fox recently separated from Brian Austin Green, whom she married back in 2010. This wouldn’t be the first time Fox and Green have had marital problems. In 2015, Fox filed for divorce from Green due to irreconcilable differences. The pair separated for a bit before getting back together several months later. In 2019, Fox had the divorce dismissed in court. The couple has three boys together: Noah Shannon, Bodhi Ransom and Journey River.

Green discusses the current situation on his podcast “With Brian Austin Green.” The “Beverly Hills, 90210” star didn’t have any negative views about Kelly. “Megan and I talked about him and they’re friends at this point and from what she’s expressed, he’s a really just nice, genuine guy. I trust her judgment. She’s always had really good judgment,” Green said on his podcast. Despite the rumors, Green wants people to simply let them handle the situation like adults. “I don’t want people to think that her [Fox] or he [Kelly] are villains or I was a victim in any way with any of this — because I wasn’t. This isn’t something new for us. This is something new for people to experience and hear about in the press but it’s not new for us,” Green also said on his podcast.

What Will Happen Next?

While Green and Fox are separated, there are no talks of a divorce just yet. Since they began dating back in 2004, the couple has dealt with tabloids at every turn. At the age of 18, Fox started dating Green, who was 30. As expected, countless magazines gave the relationship a bad look. Despite this, they managed to pull through and start a family.

For Kelly, this is simply another chapter in his life. The rapper hasn’t been able to settle down due to constant touring. When things become safer, Kelly will be busy promoting his new album “Tickets to My Downfall.” With praised performances in “Bird Box” and “The Dirt,” Kelly might find himself tackling bigger acting roles.
