Walk of Fame Mark Hamill Rocked The Finest Cosplay At San Diego Comic Con… Or, Was It Mark? Published 7 months ago on Aug 2, 2018 By Michael Evans When it comes to San Diego Comic Con, celebs come out in full force for their fans. Many of them dress up in order to surprise everyone. One Jedi Master in particular took to the show floor in multiple outfits all weekend. Slipping Into The Con Unnoticed While Lucasfilm wasn’t promoting at the convention, Star Wars star Mark Hamill decided to have some fun. On Twitter, the star teased fans about his whereabouts at the San Diego Convention Center. “If I really WAS there in disguise, would I lie about it to fool people—secretly talk to fans—attend panels and have fun?” he asked. Twitter His first day at the convention found him secretly attending the Brooklyn Nine-Nine panel. His attire of choice was a simple NYPD jacket with a sly Batman: The Animated Series hat. Confusion Kicks In On his final day of San Diego Comic Con, Hamill tweeted, “Don’t arouse any suspicions it’s me because I’m too short for this costume.” He shared a photo of himself getting into a stormtrooper costume. With so many stormtroopers at the convention, it was hard for fans to find which one was actually Hamill. Twitter Hamill’s biggest cosplay of the weekend found him portraying an old ally but with a new twist. With an orange Darth Vader mask and combover wig, he walked the convention as Darth Donald. Along with the noticeable hair, Hamill carried around an orange golf club. The Joke’s On You? There’s a very good chance that Hamill wasn’t really at the convention in the first place. He shared an old SDCC photo from 2011 with the caption “More photographic proof I’m actually here at #SDCC if you just ignore the time-stamp.” Minutes later, he jokingly stated, “Thought I was #MarkMasterOfDiguise, but now @KenPlume has spotted me” with an image of a ketchup bottle. He also retweeted fans stating they’ve seen him, but their photos were just robes lying around. Lucasfilm Whether he was there or not, Hamill certainly knows how to be a complete trickster. The actor will be busy working on Star Wars: Episode 9, which comes out on December 19, 2019. UP NEXT The Slayer Is Reborn: A ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ Re...
