Longbow Hunters Show Themselves In Season Seven Trailer For ‘Arrow’

Arrow fans have been waiting to find out what happens to Oliver Queen following his entry into prison. Fortunately, the wait isn’t much longer. The CW decided to give fans another look at the upcoming season, and things are going to get intense.

Follow Your Arrow

The network dropped a new trailer showcasing a brand new threat called The Longbow Hunters. Led by Ricardo Diaz, the team of Red Dart, Kodiak, and Silencer are set to turn Star City upside down.

The CW

Fortunately, their appearance makes way for the team to uncover Diaz’s location. “The Longbow are a direct connection to Diaz. They are the best lead we’ve had on him in months,” states Felicity Smoak. The drug lord is responsible for Oliver being placed behind bars.

Same Attire, Different Person

The trailer ends with Green Arrow bursting onto the scene. This sounds great except that Oliver is in jail fighting off tough guys coming his way. Who exactly is this new Green Arrow?

The CW

With news of Colton Haynes returning full time as Roy Harper a.k.a. Arsenal, he could very well throw on the green attire. That’s not possible since this Green Arrow looks to be working for the enemy. Finding out who this imposter is will be another mission for the crew.

Lucky Number Seven

Arrow star Stephen Amell states that it was a blast working with writers on Oliver’s direction. “My specific idea, and even my specific nature of the space of a particular character, all ended up in the show. That’s great. I like that there’s stuff I can pitch that comes to fruition on the show,” he told Variety.

The CW

This will be the first season without longtime actors Willa Holland and Paul Blackthorne. While Blackthorne’s character is no more, Holland’s character could potentially turn in the future.
