Lindsay Lohan Is Making A TV Comeback With New Reality Show On MTV

Published

on

Looks like Lindsay Lohan is headed back to TV very soon! MTV has apparently tapped the actress for a new reality show and fans are super excited. What’s even more exciting is that viewers will get an inside look at Lohan’s business ventures overseas.

Lohan Takes Greece

Lohan may not be doing much acting these days, but it’s because she has her hands full with being an entrepreneur. She has been busy over in Greece handling the ups and downs of a nightclub and two beach houses. From the looks of things, Lohan seems to be doing quite well abroad.

Entertainment Tonight

After vacationing in Athens, Lohan fell in love with the area and decided to open up a nightclub, named Lohan Nightclub, in 2016. That venture led to two more businesses: Lohan Beach House Rhodes in Rhodes, Greece, and another Lohan Beach House in Mykonos. The businesses are doing so well that MTV wanted to give fans an inside look at her work.

Back To Reality TV

Lohan’s show, tentatively titled Lohan Beach Club, follows her and her team at Lohan Beach House Mykonos as they attempt to get things up and running. Of course, there will be plenty of entertainment and drama as the celeb’s brand ambassadors form friendships and alliances in the midst of the Mykonos nightlife scene. “Lohan Beach Club…offers viewers VIP access to one of the most exclusive destinations in the world, and a behind the scenes look at how a young, successful entrepreneur runs her empire,” MTV Programming and Development President Nina L. Diaz shared in a statement.

The new opportunity also brings the star back to reality TV— this time in a more positive light. One of her last stints on the reality show front was with her docuseries, Lindsay, on OWN, which highlighted her road to recovery after time in rehab. Lohan Beach Club will continue to give her positive press, though she’s had to rule out another big opportunity because of it.

Scheduling Conflicts

Previously, Lohan was set to reprise her role as Casey Stuart in Life-Size 2, alongside Tyra Banks. However, the actress had to drop out due to the production schedule for her new series. The movie, which will air on Freeform, is currently filming in Atlanta with Banks and Francia Raisa.

Lohan is excited, however, to move forward with her show, and her fans are excited to see her comeback to TV as well. Though there’s no premiere date yet, Lohan Beach Club is set to air sometime in 2019. Watch the show’s teaser trailer below!
