Does anyone remember Kylie Jenner’s fallout with former BFF Jordyn Woods? Well, apparently Kylie’s got a new best friend now. Meet Anastasia “Stassie” Karanikolaou. While it’s true that Stassie has almost 4.5 million Instagram followers, how much do we really know about her? Here’s what you should know about Kylie Jenner’s bestie Stassie.
Two Of A Kind
Even though it seems like Stassie came out of nowhere, she’s reportedly been a close friend of Kylie Jenner for nine years. According to Kylie’s Instagram stories, Stassie and the makeup guru were first introduced when Jenner made an appearance at a Barnes & Noble event. From then on, Kylie shared that the two were practically raised together. Apparently, Jenner moved both Stassie and Jordyn into her home at first. While it’s unknown if Stassie is still Kylie’s roomie, it’s been reported that Jordyn vacated the premises.
However, Jenner has surprised her fans by featuring Stassie much more prominently on her Instagram lately. Earlier this week, Kylie posted an adorable birthday tribute to Stassie on Instagram, captioning the photo, “9 years later and you’re still a real one. I love you forever and always.” Now, the Internet is speculating the Stassie might be Jordyn’s replacement, especially since Kylie’s been hanging out with Stassie a lot more recently. Rumor has it that this is due to Jenner’s split with ex-BFF Jordyn Woods after the Tristan Thompson scandal.
All About Stassie
So, what do you need to know about Stassie? First of all, Jenner spilled the tea on her Instagram Stories that Stassie was one of the only people who knew about her pregnancy with Stormi. In fact, when Stassie posted an Instagram pic at Kylie’s baby shower, she wrote, “I can’t even begin to describe how proud and happy i am for you.” Known by her Instagram handle @Stassiebaby, Stassie first became well-known through hosting her own YouTube channel, where she has over 215,000 subscribers to her makeup and fashion-themed videos.
Evidently, Stassie launched her own clothing line in partnership with online store Oh Polly in January 2019. Also, she’s worked with Kylie’s big sis Khloe Kardashian on her Good American campaign. While she loves working with fashion brands, the 22-year-old has also shared that she has bigger dreams for her budding career. Stassie told Good American that “Most importantly I would love to help change the world we live in. I think we need a serious change for the better and I would love to be a part of a revolution that will accomplish that.”
Time To Celebrate
Recently, Kylie’s friendship with Stassie broke the Internet when she threw an epic birthday party for her new BFF. Reportedly, the elaborate event lasted all weekend. Supposedly, Stassie’s birthday bash also included swimming in the pool and receiving VIP bottle service. Recently, the two girls also got matching tattoos. In May 2019, Kylie and Stassie were both tatted with the name “Stormi” at boyfriend Travis Scott’s birthday party. Christened after Kylie’s daughter, the besties flaunted their “Stormi” tattoos on Instagram.
Although Kylie once had a matching tattoo with Jordyn too, it appears that her friendship with Stassie is rock-solid. For now, it looks like Stassie is here to stay. Kylie Jenner even gave a sweet shout out to Stassie in Teen Vogue, saying “You’ve been the most consistent and loyal friend in my life. And I feel like, without you, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. Because I wouldn’t be weird anymore. I’d be trying to be normal.”
