Kylie Jenner

From the outside looking in, Kylie Jenner appears to be on top of the world. She has a billion-dollar business with Kylie Cosmetics, sponsorships, a top reality TV show, and a beautiful baby daughter, Stormi Webster. However, even celebrities have their limits. Jenner recently admitted that she’s been going through issues with her own mental health in the past few years. However, she’s using the moment to inspire others to turn their lives around.

Admitting The Truth

Jenner posted a picture on Instagram of herself overlooking the ocean at sunset. It seemed to be a time of peace and reflection for the young entrepreneur and she later posted more about her feelings on Instagram. Many of her fans were surprised to hear that she was struggling with her mental health. “I’ve struggled with anxiety my whole young adult life and after my baby, I dealt with all the internal ups and downs,” Jenner shared in a caption on Instagram. “I felt like I had to find myself completely again. I keep a whole lot to myself but just wanted to share and let you know I’m human. My life is not perfect and what you see here on social media is just the surface.”

Looking To Heal

Of course, though Jenner’s been successful with her growing beauty brand, it’s not easy running a business. It’s also not easy dealing with personal issues in the spotlight. Some of that stress and anxiety most likely stems from Jenner’s broken friendship with model Jordyn Woods after an alleged affair with Tristan Thompson, the ex-boyfriend of Khloé Kardashian. Woods and Thompson, who is also the father of Kardashian’s only child, True, were reportedly spotted getting too close and making out at a party while Thompson was still with Kardashian. With Kardashian being her sister, Jenner, of course, had her back but losing her best friend was hurtful. The entire drama played out on the family’s show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. However, Jenner seems to have more peace with the situation and is finding the silver lining. “I think that this whole Jordyn situation needed to happen for a reason. For me, for her, for you, for everybody,” Jenner told Kardashian in an upcoming episode of the show. “I feel like there’s a part of me that needed to grow without her. Sometimes people are there for certain reasons at certain times in your life, and then not there for others.”

Remaining Positive

That positive energy is showing up more and more in Jenner’s life. Though she has been going through a hard time, she is growing as an individual and made note of that on her Instagram post. “I’m proud of myself, my heart, and my strength. Growing up in the light with a million eyes on you just isn’t normal,” Jenner said. She did give some words of wisdom to anyone who may be going through a similar situation. “Be gentle with yourself, move on, and let go. We are all capable of great things, worthy of love, and allowed to express ourselves,” she stated. “Do more of what makes you happy and be unapologetic. Now is your season. we all have a magnificent destiny.” Many of Jenner’s followers showered her with love and kind words in the comments, including her famous sisters. “Amen sweet sister!!!!” Khloé Kardashian wrote. “I am proud of you always.” Eldest sister Kourtney Kardashian added, “I am proud of you. Let it out.” In spite of her bad moments, Jenner is moving forward in her life and is reportedly contemplating expanding her little family with rapper Travis Scott. The two are also supposedly discussing marriage so it may be wedding bells for the couple really soon.
