Kim Kardashian Posts First Baby Photo Of Psalm West On Social Media

Have you swooned over Kim Kardashian’s new baby Psalm yet? Recently, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star posted her first baby photo of her son Psalm West on social media and the Internet is dying over it. As her fourth child and her second born to a surrogate, Psalm is sure to make a splash on reality TV sooner or later. Until then, read on to learn more about Kim’ssocial media photo of baby Psalm West.

Psalm’s Premiere

On June 10, 2019, reality TV star Kim Kardashian casually dropped a huge bomb on Instagram and Twitter: her first photo of new baby Psalm West. She sweetly captioned the cute pic, “Psalm Ye.” At almost four weeks old, the photo showed the angelic infant taking a nap. So far, this is the world’s best close-up shot of the latest addition to the ever-expanding family of Kim Kardashian West and her rapper husband, Kanye West.

According to celebrity media outlet TMZ, Psalm’s birth certificate has revealed that the infant doesn’t have a middle name. Oddly enough, Kim and Kanye have never disclosed the middle names of Chicago, Saint, and North either. As soon as Psalm was born, Kim tweeted that he looked identical to his older sis Chicago West, calling him “Chicago’s twin.” The beauty mogul also tweeted that “I’m sure he will change a lot but now he looks just like her.” Kim’s Instagram photo of Psalm West instantly went viral, gaining over 6 million likes and almost 60,000 comments!

The Sweetest Thing

On the day that Kim and Kanye’s surrogate went into labor, momager/grandma Kris Jenner was busy filming an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show with her oldest daughter, Kourtney Kardashian. Surprisingly, Kourtney was actually the one to break the news to Kris that her 10th grandchild was being born. Since Kim’s publically shared about the pregnancy issues she experienced with her first two children, like pre-eclampsia and placenta accreta, she’s had a surrogate give birth to her daughter Chicago and her son Psalm. In fact, Kardashian West has been extremely candid about her choice to have her kids via surrogate.

When asked about her use of a surrogate on the show Live with Kelly and Ryan, Kim responded that “I enjoyed the surrogacy process. When it came time to breastfeed, I realized it was the best decision I have made — it’s a game changer.” Kim continued to tell Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest that “I can spend so much more time with the older kids, getting them used to the new baby.” What an adorable family!

Can You Keep Up?

With Psalm’s debut into the world, the newborn marks the 10th child born to the original Kardashian-Jenner clan. A decade ago, Mason was Kris Jenner’s first grandchild, thanks to Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick. In 2012, Penelope was born to Kourtney and Scott, bringing to the total to two Kardashian kids. Then, Kim actually gave birth to daughter North West herself in 2013, followed by son Saint West in 2015. Meanwhile, Kourtney and Scott had their son Reign in 2014. Soon afterward, daughter Dream Kardashian was sired by Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna in 2016.

As if that wasn’t enough, Kylie, Khloe, and Kim all had children in 2018. Kim’s baby girl Chicago West was born to her via surrogate in January 2018. Shockingly, Baby Stormi Webster was born to Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott less than two weeks later (no one even knew she was pregnant!) Then, Khloe gave birth to daughter True Thompson in April 2018. And now, baby Psalm makes 10!
