Sorry Dolls! It looks like the Kardashian-Jenner sisters are leaving some things behind in 2018, including their subscription apps.

Calling It Quits

After three years of hosting their own individual apps, the famous sisters announced that they would no longer be updating them in 2019. “We’ve had an incredible experience connecting with all of you through our apps these past few years but have made the difficult decision to no longer continue updating in 2019,” a statement reads on each of their apps. “We truly hope you’ve enjoyed this journey as much as we have, and we look forward to what’s ahead,” a statement read.

The Kardashian sisters, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé, along with Kylie Jenner, followed the path of sister Kendall Jenner. Jenner shut down her app in 2017.

Subscription Model

All of the sisters’ apps were launched in 2015. The apps were free but offered additional content to subscribers for $2.99 a month. Content for each of them featured never-before-seen photos and videos from their personal lives, as well behind-the-scenes looks at their beauty, fitness and diet routines. The premium-paid content also included exclusive live streams and tutorials for fans.

The apps were developed through West Hollywood-based Whalerock who also had deals with other celebs like Ellen DeGeneres and Tyler the Creator. Though the sisters will no longer develop content for the apps, they still share much of their lives on social media platforms like Instagram and Snapchat.

Keeping It Moving

Just because their apps are shutting down doesn’t mean that this hardworking family still isn’t making power moves. The family still has their reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which just wrapped its 15th season. The sisters have also snagged various endorsement and production deals that bring in more income.

E!

Kim, Khloé, and Kylie have all recently created their beauty and fashion collections for fans. In fact, Kylie hit the No. 5 spot on Forbes‘ list of America’s wealthiest celebs with a net worth of $900 million from her Kylie Cosmetics line. Kendall was also named the highest-paid model of 2018 by Forbes. Clearly, this family shows no signs of slowing down in 2019!
