Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Triumphant Return To Hollywood

Published

on

Jennifer Love Hewitt is a recognizable name in Hollywood. Everyone knows her, but she has been absent from Hollywood in recent years. She seemed to disappear from acting, but that has all changed. Hewitt is making her comeback and she wants to let everyone know that she is here to stay.

Her Claim To Fame

Hewitt gained fame while starring as Sarah Reeves in the popular 1990’s family series, Party of Five. She quickly became a household name and began her movie career, starring in I Know What You Did Last Summer, Can’t Hardly Wait, and others. In the early 2000s, every teenage girl wanted to be just like her, and men adored her.

But in the 2000s, Hewitt’s career hit a plateau, apart from a few successful projects, including Heartbreakers, The Audrey Hepburn Story, and her popular television series, The Client List. Hewitt met her now-husband, Brian Hallisay, while starring on the Lifetime original series.

Taking A Break

In 2014, Hewitt decided to take a brief break from acting to raise her two children. While she frequently appeared in Criminal Minds, she wasn’t the popular, household name she once was years ago.

Star Changes

Hewitt shared that she “needed to be a person for a while” after spending most of her life in the limelight. The actress commented that it was important for her to “be there” for her children, explaining, “I needed to have new things to bring back to my craft. I feel like I’ve done that now.”

Making Her Comeback

Hewitt removed herself from Hollywood to care for her children, but now she’s making a comeback. In 2018, she made her television return on Ryan Murphy’s Fox program, 9-1-1. She was cast to fill the void left by Connie Britton, and it seemed to work. The show’s season two opener, introducing Hewitt, successfully reached 8.47 million viewers.

Hewitt loves every part of her Hollywood comeback. She commented, “I love the show. I love doing drama. I just think the cast is extraordinary and when Ryan Murphy calls, you pick up the phone and you do whatever he says because he’s Ryan Murphy.”

The actress is excited to show her children who she used to be and who she is today. If you ask her fans, everyone is ready for her triumphant return.
