Joker Vs. Batman— 5 Things The Joker Can Do To Beat Batman

Published

on

The storied history between Batman and The Joker is one of the biggest in comic book history. When it comes to their behavior, there’s obviously some difference in how they present themselves. These are certain things Batman can’t accomplish that The Joker can easily do in a snap.

Dressed To Impress

When it comes to clothing, Batman cannot compete with what’s in The Joker’s closet. Over the decades, The Joker has worn an outrageous amount of suits that made him stand out instantly. With so much money at his disposal, Bruce Wayne only wears one kind of suit at every occasion.

In For The Kill

Batman never kills people. The Joker, however, enjoys watching his enemies go down. With over 543 deaths, The Joker is the most violent person in DC Comics. While most of his murders are random people, he has taken down some big names. Jason Todd and Alexander Luthor are among those that fell victim to the villain.

By Your Side

For most of his run, The Joker managed to have only one sidekick: Harley Quinn. Being Batman’s sidekick is almost considered a curse. Throughout the decades, the Caped Crusader had to watch most of his sidekicks die in battle, including his own son Damian. A few of Batman sidekicks have managed to make it out alive, including Carrie Kelley, Cassandra Cain, and Dick Grayson.

A Short Run

Batman has had countless comic books in his name. While Joker is a popular name, he doesn’t have the same luck. The villain only had one solo series for himself back in 1975. The series featured wild adventures such as The Joker being stalked by a Hollywood actor. Unfortunately, it lasted nine issues. A tenth issue, which would’ve found him facing the Justice League, was never finished.

Can’t Feel My Face

While you can’t see much of it, Batman loves his face. In 2011, The Joker gets his face removed by Dollmaker before escaping from Arkham Asylum. The following year, the villain returns with his sliced face stapled to his skull. To him, it was a way to show everyone that even without his so-called “mask,” he was still feared in Gotham City.

When Real-Life Plays A Part In TV Plotlines

Not every show has its plot lined out from the moment the pilot airs, and still, sometimes real-life can get in the way. Even the best laid plans can go awry, and sometimes plotlines are created entirely to accommodate an actor’s unexpected personal issue.
