Harry Styles’ single was released at midnight and peaked at number one around 5 AM. The heavily-inked heartthrob first unveiled the release of his single on March 25 on a television ad and confirmed that the release date of ‘Sign of the Times’ will be on April 7.

Harry Styles is the fourth member to have a solo album following his bandmates Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson. He is known for his epic rock ballad voice with the hint of David Bowie’s tone. Harry teased fans about the single release on his social media accounts by posting a silhouette photo of a sitting man (which is seemingly him) in water. He also tweeted hints of his first single after Liam Payne’s Twitter announcement of his baby with Cheryl Cole, which sent the fans like crazy.
