Gal Gadot Must Obey These Rules To Keep Her Wonder Woman Job

Published

on

In the immense world of record-breaking superhero films, Gal Gadot is the reigning queen. 2017’s summer flick Wonder Woman became one of the most impactful movies in recent memory. In order for the former Miss Israel to keep playing the beloved character, she has to follow these rules.

No Peeking

While she might get excited over Wonder Woman 2, Gadot can’t touch the script until filming. It’s done to prevent any major spoilers from leaking out. She has Tom Holland to thank for that one. The Spider-Man actor’s loose lips banned him from reading the Infinity War script beforehand.

No Disney For You

Fans that want to see Gadot play a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be disappointed. Due to her contract, the actress is banned from starring in any film done through Marvel Studios or Disney. Just simply hope Marvel and DC decide to do a crossover film in the near future.

Empower The World

Portraying a strong female character in today’s world is important. The studios want Gadot to use her newfound star power to encourage women all around the world. Gadot doesn’t mind spreading awareness of gender equality wherever she goes. “We keep on talking about women empowerment and first thing, it’s important that girls will have a strong female figure to look up to, just like boys have,” she told Emanuel Levy.

Sign The Contract

Gadot had to sign to a multi-movie deal before accepting the role. This is very common when it comes to superhero movies. Her original deal was slated for three movies. After Justice League, the actress renewed her contract for much higher pay. She originally earned $300,000 per film.

Don’t Pick A Fight

Gal Gadot better think twice before getting into arguments with the cast and crew. Bringing a diva attitude on set is never a good thing. While she’s been Wonder Woman for quite some time, Gadot can easily be replaced by someone else. Just ask actor Edward Norton why he’s no longer playing The Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
