Gal Gadot Is Timelessly Cool In Leaked ‘Wonder Woman: 1984’ Image

SNL‘s Kate McKinnon joked on The Tonight Show that Gal Gadot is a “Grecian goddess,” and the rest of us are just “midwestern toads.” After Gadot tweeted the first sneak-peak at her costume in Wonder Woman 1984, we have to agree that “goddess” still fits in this throwback sequel.

The Gang’s All Here

Everyone that made the first Wonder Woman so awesome is back and ready for action. Patty Jenkins will take her rightful throne in the director’s chair. Chris Pine is somehow back as Steve Trevor (time travel?) and rockin’ that tracksuit. And, of course, studio execs would be insane if they didn’t get Gal Gadot back in silver bracelets. But, who will be the permed villain?

Kristen Wiig, comedienne turned actually-really-talented-and-you-can-totally-take-her-seriously actor, joins the cast as Wonder Woman’s nemesis, The Cheetah. Wiig is known mostly for her physical comedy as a long-running player on Saturday Night Live. It’s going to be fun to watch her bring The Cheetah to life!
