The Futuristic Taco Bell From ‘Demolition Man’ Was Brought To Life And It’s Unbelievable

While it used to be specifically meant for comic book fans only, the super-famous convention circuit known as Comic-Con has expanded itself far beyond the realm of superheroes and graphic novels. Of course, there’s still a fervent population of comic book aficionados present at each event. However, the topics of interest have spilled over into cartoons, television, movies, and pop culture, in general. The most famous Comic-Con takes place every year in beautiful, sunny San Diego, California. And this year’s convention found a way to pay homage to a cult classic: Demolition Man.

Tribute To Demolition Man

One of the most niche movies from the beloved 90’s era has got to be the Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes classic, Demolition Man. This action-packed sci-fi feature became a fan favorite for its unique look into a futuristic city by the name of San Angeles. And in this town, the only restaurant available is an upscale Taco Bell.

Bloody Disgusting

In celebration of the 25th year of Demolition Man‘s release, a Taco Bell near the San Diego Comic-Con completely revamped itself to accurately represent the fast-food location from the movie.

How’s The Food?

In short, the food is impeccable. Frankly, to say they stepped their culinary game up to match their clean, futuristic aesthetics, would be a massive understatement. And presentation is everything.

Twitter

Naturally, social media outlets were filled with unique shots of Demolition fans enjoying their high-class Taco Bell orders.

It’s All In The Details

As fans of the movie remember, the society set up in San Angeles followed its own set of rules. The most memorable being the fines handed out to people who swore in public.

Psychotronic Review

Apparently, it’s not just swearing that this Taco Bell is cracking down on. So, if you choose to listen to an “unapproved” song while enjoying your meal, expect to get a ticket for your wrongdoing— just like the movie! This could definitely turn a quick and inexpensive meal into a much more costly experience.
