Tight No More: Celebs That Used To Be BFFs

Published

on

In Hollywood, finding true friends can be a bit tough. Having someone to tell your deep secrets to can be very comforting. Just like any other relationship, things can get a bit sour over time. We look at five celebrity friendships that managed to take a turn for the worse.

Katy Perry And Kristen Stewart

The love for Twilight brought together former BFFs Kristen Stewart and Katy Perry. Their relationship dissolved over Stewart’s ex Robert Pattinson. Perry was rumored to have been seen in a romantic setting with Pattinson. Those rumors sealed the deal between Stewart and Perry’s relationship. Perry did try to work things out, but we’ll never know if it’s okay between the ladies.

Justin Timberlake And Ryan Gosling

Justin Timberlake and Ryan Gosling first met while filming the Mickey Mouse Club. They were almost inseparable; Gosling spent months living with Timberlake and his mother. Nowadays, the two avoid discussing why they’re not as close as they were as kids. Gosling told America Reads Spanish, “I see him around but it’s like anything where you’re friends with somebody in elementary school or something. How many friends do you still have from elementary school?”

Jennifer Aniston And Chelsea Handler

Jennifer Aniston and Chelsea Handler might be an awkward pair to some. Their friendship came to an abrupt end after Handler told Aniston’s ex Brad Pitt and others secrets about her relationship with Justin Theroux. Handler has admitted on numerous occasions that she was completely wrong for her behavior.

Eva Longoria And Jennifer Lopez

At one point, actresses Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez were stuck like glue. Things changed drastically when photos of Longoria sitting on Marc Anthony’s lap made their way online. Longoria made things worse when she tried to console Anthony following his divorce from Lopez. While the two ladies attend the same award shows, they always try to sit away from each other.

Winona Ryder And Gwyneth Paltrow

Actresses Winona Ryder and Gwyneth Paltrow always hung out together. One day, Paltrow noticed the script for Shakespeare in Love on Ryder’s desk and decided to read it. Enamored with the story, she decided to go for the same role as Ryder. Paltrow got the part, and the two haven’t been speaking to each other since that moment.
