Footage Of Outrageous Cardi B Moment Involving A Shoe Resurfaces After Fight With Nicki Minaj

Cardi B and Nicki Minaj’s huge fight at a party during New York Fashion Week has been the talk of the town. When security held her back, Cardi ended up throwing her shoe at Nicki. And, from old footage of Cardi’s former reality show, this isn’t her first fight with stilettos getting tossed!

A Major Throwdown

From a previous Instagram post shared by Cardi, Nicki allegedly had attempted to blackball her in the music industry on multiple occasions. For Cardi, the final straw was Nicki reportedly talking about her newborn daughter, Kulture. “I’ve let a lot of s— go! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, f— up the way I eat!” Cardi wrote on Instagram. “But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f—— off!”

Though she didn’t name Nicki directly, fans speculated that the two were feuding. It all came to a head at Harper’s Bazaar‘s ICONS party, where Cardi and Nicki came face to face. It soon became a full argument. During the brawl, the two rappers yelled across the room, with Cardi attempting to get to Nicki to physically fight. Not being able to get to Nicki, Cardi ended up launching her shoe in an attempt to hit her nemesis. The failed attempt took fans back to an old reality TV clip where Cardi chucked her shoe.

Reality Flashback

During a reunion special for Love & Hip Hop in 2017, Cardi got into an argument with her co-star, Asia. The two were battling over producer Swift, who was, at the time, Asia’s boyfriend. Cardi, however, had both a working and personal relationship with the producer as well, which Asia wasn’t too happy about.

Cardi attempted to ask Asia what exactly was the problem between them. Cardi felt that Asia was really just judging her because of her past as a stripper, and wanted direct answers. When Asia remained quiet, Cardi hurled her shoe at Asia, making direct contact. Security quickly swooped in before the girls could fight. However, it shows that Cardi’s real weapon of choice is often her footwear!

Clapping Back

As far as the fight between Nicki and Cardi, Nicki was completely embarrassed, calling the moment “so mortifying and so humiliating” on her Queen Radio broadcast. “It’s about upper echelon people who are, you know, people who have their lives together. The way they pass by looking at this disgusting commotion, I will never forget. I was mortified,” she shared. The rapper went on to say that she also never talked badly about Baby Kulture, and never would. “I would never discuss someone’s child and it’s so sad for someone to pin that on me because I’m the bad guy and they know people would believe that.”

After the dust settled, Cardi, however, made a joke out of it, and the injury on her head sustained when security broke things up. The artist recently shared a photo of a young girl who mimicked her NYFW look. “Sooooooo buteeeeee,” she wrote on Instagram. “[But] she forgot the knot.”
