Disneyland Brings Captain Marvel To Its Resorts In 2019

Published

on

Disneyland has seen its fair share of families and Super Bowl winners over the years. Now, they’re seeing superheroes. Since Marvel and Disney have joined forces, visiting your favorite heroes is easier than ever. One superhero will make a splash at the resort around the time of their highly anticipated film debut.

Another Captain In Town

Captain Marvel will start appearing at Disneyland next year. This is labeled as a limited time affair, but if met with high praise, it could lead to a permanent stay. Fans can catch Captain Marvel hanging out at Disney California Adventure.

California won’t be the only place to catch Captain Marvel in person. Disney also revealed that the superhero will appear at Disneyland Paris and the Disney Cruise Line.

A Whole New Universe

With Captain Marvel’s arrival, Disneyland is slowly piecing together its forthcoming Marvel Universe themed parks. Opening in 2020, their parks will include several themed areas based on popular Marvel properties. In Disneyland, fans can expect to see Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, and The Avengers join forces for an insane experience. In Hong Kong Disneyland, a new Ant-Man and the Wasp area will open.

DLP Town Square

Disneyland Paris kicked things off last summer with their stage show, Marvel Super Heroes United. This show is slated to come back next summer.

A Marvelous 2019

Captain Marvel hits theaters on March 8, 2019. The film, which is Marvel’s first female-led feature, follows Carol Danvers’ transformation into a phenomenal superhero. Brie Larson, who won an Oscar and Golden Globe for Room, will play the title character. When it came to taking the role, Larson was a bit skeptical at first. “I never saw myself doing something like this, mostly because I like being anonymous. I like disappearing into characters, and I always felt like if I was out in the public eye too much, it potentially limits you in the future,” she told Entertainment Weekly.

Ultimately, Larson embraced her new role in the Marvel universe. Captain Marvel will also appear in Avengers 4, which comes out on May 3, 2019.

Beverly Hills, 90210: Was Luke Perry Team Dylan or Team Brandon?

Some television shows come into our lives at the exact right moment, so that they become inextricably bound with our memories of those complicated coming-of-age years, Beverly Hills 90210 is without a doubt one of those shows. We all tuned in week after week, year after year because the drama was just so addicting. The love triangles! The will-they-won’t-theys! Meanwhile, when the cameras weren’t rolling, the cast was up to plenty of off-set antics of their own. Disclaimer: after you read about what went down, it might have you rethinking everything — were those angsty expressions just good acting, or were they bringing some real-life drama into it?
