Disney+ Reveals New Scarlet Witch And Series ‘WandaVision’

This fall, Disney+ will bring all of your favorite Disney programs in one place. The streaming service will also create several new programs surrounding the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Scarlet Witch and Vision are the next heroes to make the small screen jump with WandaVision.

What’s In A Name?

The show follows the Marvel couple outside of their Avengers life. While fans love the idea, the title has them split on the Internet. Some fans aren’t set on having WandaVision as its official name. Many of them have another viable option in mind. “The Scarlet Witch and Vision series sounds great! But WandaVision is cringe-worthy. ScarletVision sounds so much better,” Twitter user SilentFS said. The show was rumored to be titled Vision and the Scarlet Witch.

Love Is In The Air

One thing that confuses fans is where this show lies in the MCU. In Avengers: Infinity War, both characters perished at the hands of Thanos. If there’s a chance of them returning for good in Endgame, the show could follow the film’s aftermath. The series could take place somewhere between Civil War and Infinity War. After Civil War, Vision constantly visited Scarlet Witch following her relocation to Scotland. During this time, Vision transformed himself into a human in order to fit in with the locals.

The Ultimate Power Couple

Being able to see more of Scarlet Witch and Vision outside of battle will be a pleasing experience. As expected, their time together might be spoiled by the occasion villain. Jac Schaeffer, who co-wrote Captain Marvel, will be the official showrunner. Schaeffer is also writing the forthcoming Black Widow solo movie. Fans can see what happens to Scarlet Witch and Vision in Avengers: Endgame. The final chapter of the Infinity Saga will be released on April 26. The film has been breaking pre-sale ticket records at every turn. It’s slated to earn around $300 million in the U.S. on its opening weekend.
