Longtime fans of soap operas know that certain characters might suddenly look different over time. Several characters will have more than one person playing them during their time on the show. Two popular Marvel stars managed to be connected to one certain character.
Reggie And The Full Effect
In 2003, All My Children was one of the hottest soap operas around. That year, lawyer Jackson Montgomery decided to adopt Reggie Porter as his new son. While Jackson stuck to the books, Reggie found himself in a lot of trouble.

Chadwick Boseman portrayed the character for about a week before being fired. It wasn’t Boseman’s performance that sent him packing. He had several debates about how his character was being portrayed on screen, ultimately leading to him leaving the show. Michael B. Jordan replaced him and kept the role for three years.
Taking It Over
In a recent interview with The Wrap, both men discussed their wild connection. For Boseman, the role was a tough pill to swallow. “It’s one of those things where you get a role, and you don’t really know. When I got it, I was like, ‘This is not part of my manifesto. This is not part of what I want to do. How can I make it work?” he said.

Jordan was thankful that Boseman stood up for his beliefs. “I’m younger than Chad, and I was coming into ‘All My Children’ fresh off ‘The Wire’ — wide open, still learning. I was playing this role not knowing that a lot of the things I was going through were because of what he’d already done for me,” he said.
Wakanda Forever
For many, it seems strange that neither man discussed their shared role until now. In Hollywood, things like this don’t really get brought up in casual conversations.

Boseman and Jordan’s work on Black Panther have earned both men numerous accolades. This year, Boseman will appear in Avengers: Endgame while Jordan will lend his voice for the webseries Gen:Lock.
