Cool Your Jets Because Brad and Charlize Are Just Friends

All right, all right. We’ve heard the rumors about Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron, too. Two talented and charismatic actors with bone structure for days spending time together on a set? Why not? And while the two would make a psychotically good-looking couple, the rumors are just that— rumors. Brad and Charlize are just friends.

Everybody’s Watching Their Watch Commercial

The two actors have spent time together while working on an advertising campaign for Breitling watches. But they were friends way before that.

A source mentioned to Entertainment Tonight that Brad and Charlize go way back: “They enjoy each other’s company and connect on many levels. Brad and Charlize have a lot of mutual friends and share their love of acting, but neither of them is ready for a serious relationship right now.”

They’re Just Friends, Everybody

Naturally, they have a lot in common. Like being seriously ridiculously good-looking. Theron, 43, was recently linked to Sean Penn and was in a serious relationship with British actor Stuart Townsend for a decade.

The source mentioned that Pitt, 55, has been casually dating. But it’s less than likely he’ll get serious about another actor or someone in the entertainment industry after break-ups with Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie. (We hear entertainment writers are keepers, Brad, just FYI.)

Single Father

“He tried that route already, and while he loved both Jen [Aniston] and Angelina [Jolie] very much, and he grew tremendously as a person with both women, he is ready for something different,” the source said. “At the moment, he is all about his career and his children. He is working on several projects and spends every moment he can with his kids.”

After Pitt and Jolie split up in 2016, they reached a custody agreement in November of 2018 after a long period of challenging mediation, some of which was public. The former couple shares six children:  Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
