Black Mirror Season 3 – What to Expect

The awesomely creepy and dark science fiction based dystopian drama series Black Mirror was released in late 2011 along with its fantastic tales of memory-wiping, pig-molesting, and perils of reality television series. Now, after a span of five years, fans around the world gearing up for another exclusive season 3 which is going to be aired soon.

So, let’s take a thorough look at each & everything that you’ll possibly need to know about the thrilling sci-fi series.

Is There A Trailer Out Yet?

Netflix has recently posted a trailer for the upcoming series on their Twitter account. So, you can actually watch the two-minutes quick teaser which will again reveal the great dystopian drama series filled with existential dread & technological terror.

When and Where Can You Watch It?

Black Mirror Season 3 is expected to return for a 12-episode season in which 6 installments will be debuted from October 21, 2016. The following six episodes are expected to be released by early next year.

What About the Cast?

According to Netflix, each episode will address brand new topics featuring a completely different cast. However, Mr. Hammaconda won’t be returning for this Season 3, but don’t be offended. The replacement cast is brilliantly awesome.

In fact, in Season 3, you will be attracted by a myriad of familiar faces, including stars like Mackenzie Davis (from Halt & Catch Fire), Gugu Mbatha (from Beyond the Lights), Alice Eve (from Star Trek Into the Darkness), Bryce Dallas Howard (from Jurassic World), and Wyatt Russell (from Everybody Wants Some!!) among others.

What About the Themes?

While the show’s creator, Charlie Brooker, has already promised the audience that this season will continue to explore the indefinable & uncomfortable nature of their relationship with technology without revealing more about the themes. However, he explained that each episode will feature an entirely different genre, for example, a police procedural, a horror romp, a romance tale, and a military story. He even teased that one of such episodes will be also set in 1987.

What Will the Topics Be?

As the recently-released trailer of Black Mirror Season 3 indicates, the show will successively continue with its unique yet incredible blend of plausible, dystopian terror, spine-tingling creepiness and bleak satire.

With these glimpses, it looks like you can expect some new stories which will take place in an eerily and creepily recognizable world which include virtual reality, an obsessive use of social media, & inescapable surveillance.

If you watched the previous seasons, then you might have some ideas about what to expect from the series. The best part is – in Season 3, each episode will feature a completely standalone story.

So, now get ready to dive in & make your mind fascinated as soon as it is aired on Netflix by October 21.
