With the tickets going on sale on the 1st of Oct 2016 at 10am, fan favorite band member Brian Littrell was quoted saying he is expecting the residency to be a huge hit. Backstreets Boys are all set to follow the footsteps of Celine Dion, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men who have already signed their residency plans with a huge price tag attached. With a record 165 million albums sold, the best-selling boy band in the history is all set to perform and to re-win the hearts of its millions of fans.

There will be a nostalgic feel to the residency as hits from the 90’s and early 2000’s will be played for the fans to cherish. Backstreet Boys is only the second band ever to have their all nine albums reach top 10 on the Billboard 200 list. Organizers are expecting to add more dates to the residency if the band manages to sell out their concerts. With so many loyal fans in the states and around the world, selling out the concert should not be a problem for Backstreet Boys. Las Vegas will also provide the perfect opportunity to the band to restart their careers.

This will be the band’s first series of concerts since their Never Gone Tour in 2006 which saw them perform in front of millions of fans in Europe, Asia, Australia and America. Fans would also get a chance to witness all five members of the band back together on one stage for the first time since 2006. The band, after six albums and 13 years together, broke up when Kevin Richardson quit in 2006. They did relese another two albums without Kevin, along with another album when he rejoined the group in 2013. The band has had seven Grammy Award nominations, seven Billboard Music Awards and hundreds of more awards to their name.

Are you excited about this Larger Than Life Residency? Will you be attending the concerts? Let us know in the comments!
