Asia Argento recently opened up about her relationship with Parts Unknown star, Anthony Bourdain. The Italian actress met Bourdain during one of his shows in 2016, and love quickly blossomed. Before his suicide earlier this year, the two shared a beautiful relationship, and Argento is finally ready to talk about it.

Asia Argento met Anthony Bourdain in her hometown, Rome, in 2016. He would ask her for cultural assistance for his television program, Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unkown. Most notably, Argento gave him a hand with her knowledge of music and film, which Anthony was then able to use in episodes of his show.

They Shared a “Free” Relationship

Both Anthony Bourdain and Asia Argento were free-spirited people, and their love life expressed that through their adventurous lifestyle. They refused to go by the rules and embraced a relationship without borders. Although the relationship lasted about two years, Argento attests that those were the best two years of her life.

The couple’s lifestyle was very adventurous and they supported each other wholeheartedly. Anthony Bourdain very publicly supported Asia Argento’s prominent activism throughout the #MeToo movement. He didn’t back down when she made public speeches or participated in her activism. He supported her every step of the way.
