Anna Kendrick Jokes: “Holy S-t” I Was In Twilight”

“Holy S-t I just remembered I was in Twilight,” Anna Kendrick tweeted, sparking reactions across Twitter. Unsurprisingly, fans of the actress remembered and celebrated her role in the franchise. Responses ranged from “You’re also the most successful out of the entire crew after Twilight. Lmao!” to “The tourists still coming to my town 10+ yrs later didn’t.”

10 Years After Twilight

In Kendrick’s defense, it has been 10 years since the films aired and stole the hearts of young girls across the US. The opening weekend of The Twilight Saga: New Moon is the ninth-highest opening weekend in domestic history, earning over $142 million at the box office.

Kendrick has gone on to many successful roles in Hollywood. She has starred opposite George Clooney in Up in the Air where she earned an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress. She also has delighted audiences in the Pitch Perfect franchise, A Simple Favor, and Into the Woods.

Anna Kendrick’s Role In The Twilight Series

Her Hollywood fame may exceed some of her co-stars, as fans suggest. However, her recurring role in a the popular series was rather small before she went on to larger leading performances. In the Twilight films, fans saw Kendrick play a bright and bubbly character, a little out of the norm for her now-famous quirkiness.

Kendrick’s character Jessica Stanley was a friend and classmate of Bella Swan, played by Stewart. She appeared in four out of the five films, including Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.

Never Forget

November 21, 2018 marked the 10-year anniversary of the Twilight franchise. While Anna’s screen time may have been limited, she certainly made an impression.
