Artist Rising Despite her background and abilities in the water, Amy still feared the open sea. But, as the cruise went along, shefound herself having fun. 3. People on Cruises Disappear All of the Time In 2015, over 14 million people hopped aboard a cruise. Most of these cruises were in the Caribbean. A half hour later, at around 6 am, Amy was not there. amybradley.net “When I couldn’t find her, I didn’t really know what to think,” says Amy’s father. “It was very much unlike Amy to leave and not tell us where she was going.” 9. The Ship That Did Nothing Amy Lynn Bradley’s family began to worry. They went to ship authorities and requested that they use the speaker system to page her. The ship claimed it was too early in the morning to use the loud speakers. amybradley.net The ship also refused to turn the ship away from the dock or to secure the gangways so prohibit any kidnapper or kidnappers from taking Amy off of the ship. More so, the ship would not put up pictures of Amy, nor would they tell the other passengers about her disappearance. 10. The Ship That Did Something At 8 am, the ship finally ceded to the family’s request. They sent out a page. By that time, though, many of the passengers had already left for the day. edition.cnn.com The ship then ordered an extensive search of the ship. He made the staff search all 10 decks and all 999 rooms. Despite the page and the manhunt, Amy was still missing. 11. Enter FBI, Exit Amy Lynn Bradley’s Family That thorough search the ship did? According to the FBI, it was a ruse. The ship employees did little more than peek into the common spaces and bathrooms. Collective Evolution When the family returned for talks with the ship, they stood face to face with the cruises’s “risk management agent” (aka, the ship’s lawyer). The FBI ended up holding many meetings with the lawyer. During the meetings, Amy’s family was barred from being present. 12. What Yellow Did or Did Not Do According to Amy’s younger brother, Yellow came to him the morning of Amy’s disappearance. Yellow told Brad that he felt bad about Brad’s missing sister. Authorities supposedly looked into Yellow’s role in Amy’s disappearance and could find no evidence that he was involved. 13. Strangers on a Ship The family claimed that on March 23rd they had seen a group of people who weren’t passengers board the ship with a dance troupe. amybradley.net These people ambled about and were able to take part in the festivities. Amy’s family felt it was weird that these strangers could board the ship and get in on the entertainment without having to pay. 14. Supposedly, three of the waiters were particularly enchanted by Amy. amybradley.net These waiters took to call Amy by her first name and flirted with her frequently. At one point, they invited her to go on shore with them. According to Amy, these three waiters gave her the willies. 15. Cut Out of the Picture Photos were taken during the dinner part of the party on March 23rd, the day before Amy went missing. All of the photos were supposedly posted on a board, yet none of the photos featured Amy. amybradley.net When the family asked when the photos of Amy would be posted, the man in charge of the photos said he was unable to find any with Amy and promised to get them redeveloped soon. 16. The witness was up early because she was going to go into Curacao. amybradley.net The witness says Yellow got Amy a dark drink: Maybe coffee or maybe a Coke. The witness later took a polygraph test and passed. She also testified in front of a Grand Jury. 17. Maybe Amy Killed Herself… Some have suggested that Amy committed suicide by jumping over the ship’s railing. This conclusion didn’t make sense to Amy’s family. Amy was a happy, healthy, level-headed young woman, who had a good life to return to. amybradley.net Amy had adopted a bulldog and sent postcards to her friends about how she couldn’t wait to get home. She also got a new job and brought 15 rolls of film with her on the trip. From the pictures, Amy planned to make a collage for her coffee table. 18. Unsuited For the “Runway Profile” The FBI launched a detailed investigation into Amy’s past. They spoke with her friends, family, classmates, coworkers, and teachers. sitcomsonline.com No one gave any indication that Amy had a burning desire to runaway or to harm herself. More so, no one provided any credible motivation for Amy to kill herself. 19. The Royal Caribbean Issues a Statement The uncooperative and secretive cruise ship company, the Royal Caribbean, maintains that Amy had accidentally fallen over a railing and drowned. They speculate the accident was due in part to her being intoxicated. Miami Herald There is not evidence that Amy fell, however. More so, Amy was an apt swimmer and the sea conditions at the time were far from turbulent. Also, most cruise ship railings are around 3.5 feet high. This makes it hard for drunk passengers to accidentally tumble over them. 20. Killed on a Cruise Some suggest that Amy had gotten caught up in some kind of illegal activity. Maybe she witnessed a crime and had to be silenced. Maybe she was killed. DailyMail Again, there is no evidence to suggest murder. More so, Amy was a law-abiding young woman with no criminal record. 21. Canadian Tourists Say They Stumbled Upon Amy Later on in 1998, two Canadian tourists were strolling along a beach in Curacao when they claimed they saw Amy. According to the tourists, Amy was flanked by two men. amybradley.net Supposedly, after hearing the tourists speak English, Amy made an attempt to talk to them. This attempt was quickly obstructed by the men. The guys grabbed her and walked her into a cafe nearby. 22. Matching Tattoos and Matching Piercings The Canadian tourists say that the women they spotted had very specific tattoos. They were the same tattoos that Amy had. There was the Tasmanian Devil spinning a basketball on her shoulder and a Gecko on her navel. amybradley.net The tourists were also able to see that the woman had a navel ring, much like the one Amy had. The commonalties between the woman pictured on the website and Amy have lead many to believe that Amy has been sold into sexual slavery. 26. A Sailor Visits a Brothel A report from 1999 lends more credence to the idea that Amy is now a woeful member of the Caribbean’s burgeoning sex trade industry. Supposedly, in 1999, a sailor who visited a brothel in Curacao was approached by a woman who introduced herself as Amy. Curacao Visitor The woman basically begged the sailor to help her. Before the sailor could react, two men arrived and escorted the woman claiming to be Amy back upstairs. 27. Once he realized that the Amy who pleaded with him was the same Amy who was missing, the sailor told his story. When the authorities went to check up on the brothel, they discovered that it had burned down in a very mysterious fire. 28. The Very Real Possibility That Amy is a Victim of Human Trafficking There is a valid possibility that Amy, the young woman from Virginia, is now a sex slave. As stated, the Caribbean is no stranger to human trafficking. World News As Steve Reeves, an editor for a known cruise line trade publication, says, “There’s rumor and legend surrounding slavery in the southern Caribbean. It’s not uncommon knowledge in the maritime community that young white women are considered to be very desirable to foreign procurers.” 29. Was Yellow Under the Thumb of Human Traffickers? What About the Waiters? The rumors about the partnerships between cruises and sex slavery have cast a cloud of suspicion on the interactions between Amy and the band member Yellow. Collective Evolution Also under a cloud of suspicion is the ship’s waiters. Why did they invite Amy to go ashore? Was it to make it easier for the kidnappers to take her and sell into a life of sex trafficking? Perhaps this is why the Royal Caribbean is being so uncooperative. 31. Trophy Daughter Amy’s mother is all too aware of how enticing her daughter would have been to those in the sex industry. Not ignorant of the devilish underbelly of Caribbean culture, Amy’s mom believes there could have been a coordinated plan in place to take Amy from the ship. amybradley.net As Amy’s mom says, “Amy would have been a trophy. Amy would have been someone that, I believe, could have been picked out and fingered to move off of that ship. She could have been held and hidden. She could have been possibly drugged and taken from that ship.” 32. America’s Most Wanted Amy’s case has received intense publicity. She’s been featured on America’s Most Wanted, Vanished, and her parents even appared on Dr. Phil. amybradley.net Amy has also adorned the cover of many publications, such as People. A Coverup by a Cruise The Royal Caribbean cruise line amassed over 8.7 billion dollars in 2015 alone. Their large profits and their flimsy response to Amy’s disappearance have lead to lots of questions. amybradley.net Was the cruise company trying to keep away from bad publicity that would damage their profits? More harrowingly, were they involved with Amy’s disappearance? Did the company earn money from Amy’s disappearance? 37. If Only Ron Wouldn’t Have Won That Trip There’d be no possible coverup or foul play, if Amy’s father, Ron, hadn’t won the trip. amybradley.net As Amy’s mom, Iva, explains, the trip came about due to Ron being awarded a free cruise. He could take his family with him, and he did just that. Only, he didn’t come back with his daughter. 38. Dr. Phil’s Plea Dr. Phil is doing his part to bring Amy Lynn Bradley back, announcing: “If you have seen Amy, we want you to call (804) 276-8503. I promise you, we will protect your identity.” amybradley.net The daytime host goes on to state: “You don’t have to get involved if you’ve been somewhere you’re not proud of being. It doesn’t matter.
