Theorists Believe All The Rock’s Films Exist In Same Universe

Published

When it comes to action stars, there’s nobody that does it better than Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Starting his entertainment career as a professional wrestler, he quickly rose to a level of astronomical fame, the ring couldn’t hold him back anymore— it was time to head to Hollywood. And he’s been a cinematic legend ever since.

Quite The Resumé

“The Rock” has played every sort of character you could imagine. He’s played Hercules, fought off massive earthquakes, transformed worlds in Jumanji, and we haven’t even mentioned his memorable time spent in the Fast and Furious franchise.

With all this range, the last thing one would assume is that all these characters exist in the same universe. That’d be crazy, right? Well, according to Dwayne’s production partner, it might not be as far-fetched as we think.

Could This Really Be True?

Recently, Hiram Garcia, the aforementioned head of Dwayne’s production company (Seven Bucks) didn’t mince words when he was asked this very same question. Specifically, of the potential Rock-a-verse, Garcia said, “there very much is always a thread.”

This, essentially, means “The Rock” has set up his own world of characters to live in. Much like what the various comic book companies like DC and Marvel have done with their superheroes. Pretty elaborate stuff if you think about it, right?

Where’s The Connection?

Garcia went on to explain the universe further. Adding, “It always comes down to family. We always love to root our stories in family with that heart element. We believe in strong family values, and we think that just adds an element where the audience can be much more invested and care about the characters.”

If there’s some way to tie all these characters together in one film for an Avengers-like blockbuster movie, that would mean cinematic history!
