Top Actors Discuss Their Worst Kissing Scenes Ever

Published

on

One of the most intimate things actors can do would be typical kissing scenes. Many of them are extremely excited to make out with their lovely co-stars. Sometimes, that excitement turns to dread in a few short minutes. These actors walked out of their kissing scenes with complete disappointment.

The Kiss Of Wall Street

Making out with Leonardo DiCaprio is a dream for many ladies. Tony-nominated actress Joanna Lumley got her chance during 2013’s, The Wolf of Wall Street. Her only problem was the numerous takes done to get the shot right. “There are so many takes and you both have to chew so much chewing gum. It’s like kissing someone in a dentist’s waiting room,” she told The Telegraph.

Paramount Pictures

A Great Big Onion

In 2008’s My Best Friend’s Girl, Dane Cook had the chance to lock lips with Kate Hudson. In order to make things awkward, Hudson would eat onions before shooting these scenes. During an episode of Watch What Happens Live, Cook exposed her secret to the world. “I had to burn her on that one,” he said.

Lionsgate

Mucus-Infested Kiss

Robert Pattinson wasn’t exactly a heartthrob while shooting his love scene with Reese Witherspoon in Water for Elephants. Pattinson’s cold managed to make this extremely uncomfortable. “He was literally snorting and snotting through every second of it– and it was not appealing. I’m talking green, infectious, disgusting,” Witherspoon told In Touch Weekly.

20th Century Fox

Every Kiss Counts

Jennifer Lawrence was extremely scared about her kissing scene with Chris Pratt in Passengers. The main reason why she was terrified was that Pratt was married to Anna Faris. “It was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach,” Lawrence told The Hollywood Reporter.

Columbia Pictures

Harry Potter And The Deathly Kiss

When you’ve known someone for a long time, any sort of intimate scenes can be awkward. That was the case with Harry Potter actors Rupert Grint and Emma Watson. In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, the two delivered a heartwarming kiss. Grint was a bit uneasy with that moment. “I never look back at that scene,” he told People. Fortunately for him, it was a one-shot take.
