The Trailer For Season Two Of “The Sinner” Is Even Crazier Than The First Season

Season one of The Sinner really took viewers on a wild ride. It was violent and unpredictable, garnering a strong following of dedicated fans. Now the show is back for season two, and it looks even more intense than the first!

A New, Young Sinner

Season two of the show follows a young boy named Julian Walker who poisons his parents for no apparent reason. It’s up to Bill Pullman, who plays Detective Harry Ambrose, to solve the case. Pullman also starred in the first season as he worked with a young mother (Jessica Biel) to find out why she randomly stabbed a man during a beach outing.

Elisha Henning will play young Julian. Actress Carrie Coon steps on board as well as Vera. Other cast members include Ellen Adair as Bess McTeer, David Call as Andy ‘Brick’ Brickowski, Natalie Paul as Detective Heather, Hannah Gross as Marin and Olli Haaskivi as Matias Lorcas. But what about Jessica Biel?

Jessica Biel’s Role

Though the star of the first season of the show, Biel will not be appearing at all in season two. She still serves as executive producer, but it seems like her character Cora’s story is over for now. “We did talk a lot about does Cora come back for season two and what is the relationship because that’s what was interesting to me,” the actress shared in an interview.

“What happens when a woman goes through that?” Biel added. “What is life like after that when the only person really in her life that she can connect with, even besides her husband, is the detective who got her out of this thing? But we just couldn’t do it this particular season.”

Coming Soon To Netflix

The show moved on with high anticipation. Season two premiered in the US on USA Network in August 2018 to rave reviews. However, for those outside of the country or those who happened to miss the season, there is hope!

The latest season is coming soon to Netflix. Much like season one, which hit the streaming service a few months after it aired on TV, season two will be coming this fall. It will officially come to Netflix on November 9, 2018, streaming all eight episodes.
