Tori Spelling Welcomes Baby Number 5
Former 90210 actress Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott welcomed baby number five, Beau Dean McDermott, to the world this past Thursday, March 2. It was reported Beau was born at 1:48PM weighing 5 lbs., 12 oz.
The couple told People Magazine, “We are over the moon in love with baby Beau, he is a true blessing and his brothers and sisters were overjoyed to meet him! We are all truly grateful for our big beautiful and healthy family.”
Spelling also posted her excitement over the joyous news on Twitter stating, “We are so excited to announce the birth of the newest member of the McDermott family! Please join us in welcoming Beau Dean McDermott.”
Spelling and McDermott married in 2006, and just celebrated their 10 year anniversary in October. After celebrating their milestone the couple announced they were unexpectedly expecting another bundle of joy.
Tori took to her website stating, “Although it was unexpected we are thrilled to be adding a little bundle of pure love to our beautiful family! Can’t wait to share this journey with all of you.”
Spelling and McDermott have shied away from the celebrity craze of naming their children unconventional names like Apple, Blue Ivy, Bronx, Sage, and Fifi. Instead, the pair has gone with more traditional names such as Stella Dorreen, Finn Davey, Liam Aaron, Hattie Maragret, and now Beau Dean.
Just a few short weeks ago, Spelling had a fabulous baby shower, hosted by her mom Candy Spelling, at Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles. Celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss spilled some behind the scene secrets about the shower admitting that when Tori’s guests entered the party they were offered teal-colored lemonade served in baby bottles which were wrapped like diapers.
Tori was not only over the moon about her baby shower, she was also excited about the family’s first gender reveal together stating, “With Liam and Stella we found out at the doctor’s office. Hattie and Finn, we didn’t find out, we didn’t know until they were born. So this is the first reveal. We really wanted to do it with the kids because they were so excited, and we wanted to do it as a family!”
