The star, 24, had a show on The Blaze, but the show was suspended after she voiced her opinion on a subject that became a hot topic during Trump’s bid for election. The star appeared on The View last Friday, and made comments that showed her support for the pro-choice movement. News about her suspension was floated around in the internet, and she finally took to her Twitter on Monday evening and implied that she was indeed suspended with a tweet that suggested she didn’t have anything to do. She posted it at her show’s airing time.

The star came on The View and said that she would be a hypocrite if she held any other view on abortion and also supported limited government intrusion. She further said that the government could not be allowed to decide what women do with their bodies.

Her comments spurred controversy among her right-wing supporters as her stand on abortion was deemed unsympathetic to new lives. The Blaze founder, Glenn Beck, was also up in a rage about the comments and made it known on his morning talk show. To him the comments stemmed from a lack of intellectual honesty on her part. It is not certain if the move to suspend her show was an effort to save face for The Blaze. Leon Wolf, managing editor at The Blaze was reached for comments by the CNN and said that the show’s episode for this week would not be produced, therefore; it is still not clear if the suspension is permanent or just a short-term thing.

Glenn Beck, however, said that he did not have a problem working with people who held different opinions from him; after all he has done it before. Mr. Beck is known to be a staunch pro-life supporter who refers to doctors who are for abortion as “baby killers.”

Lahren, who has garnered a massive support of 4.2 million on Facebook spoke on the issue again and clarified her stand point for the sake of those who had misread her comments. She said that the opinion was not about encouraging abortions. To her, abortion was not even something she would advocate for among women. To her, the act is not right; however, she did not think that it was the government’s place to decide what women do with their bodies.
