Tom Hardy Wants His Fans To Co-Star In His Upcoming Movie

Being in a movie is something that everyone wishes they can do. You can brag about your spot as an extra to everyone around you. If you’re looking for a gig, actor Tom Hardy needs some extra faces for an upcoming film!

The Big Fella

Hardy is currently shooting the crime film Fonzo, based on the life of notorious mobster Al Caopne, down in New Orleans.The film crew is looking for various types of people to play members of Al Capone’s family and crew.

Rex

For children looking to get their foot in the door, they’re searching kids over the age of six. Twins are highly requested for this role. Adults between the age of 20 and 70 are needed to portray Capone’s family. Men between the ages of 20 and 40 are wanted to play mobsters. These specific roles are for those with Sicilian and Italian American looks. Cuban and Hispanic looking people between the age of 30 and 70 are wanted to portray maids and groundskeepers.

Looking The Part

In order to get the ’40s vibe, certain visual aspects have to be met. Any piercings and tattoos are simply not allowed. Those that wear braces will be disappointed to hear those are also not accepted on set. While full-on beards are not wanted, mustaches are okay.

You’d also have to accept having your hair transformed into something more suitable. For 10 hours of work, you’ll get paid $94.

That’s A Wrap

Fonzo, which features Hardy as Capone, is slated to finish shooting before summer arrives. The film is being directed by Josh Trank, who is best known for his work in 2012’s Chronicle.

The movie is set to be released in 2019. This is Hardy’s second shot at playing Capone. In 2011, he was booked to play him in Cicero, but the film was canceled.
